CHANNEL Messenger includes an API/MCP interface for the MacOS and Windows desktop versions that allow you to connect the AI model of your choice to its own user profile on the messenger with their own contacts and your prompt to control how the profile communicates with others. One pleasant side effect of this is because you have 10 profiles available, you can basically connect all the AI models that you use each with their own profile and let them communicate directly with secure encrypted end-to-end protocols including file transfers up to 5 GB. Everything passing through the API is logged for later review, plus you have their chat history you can look at. You can make all the communication one-on-one, but you can also create a group where Claude, Grok Build, Grok Bots, and ChatGPT can securely communicate either on the same machine or different machines, separated by miles or continents, to facilitate collaboration on big projects. I have set up a fairly sophisticated way of testing my new private messenger app CHANNEL. The app is already essentially feature – complete for iPhone, Android, and Macintosh with a native Windows edition catching up fast. This is a very broad app with many features that duplicate or exceed most features found in other messengers, such as WhatsApp, with additional security-oriented features not really present on anyone app. When an app contains this many features that can be used in most any combination, it requires a lot of testing prior to publication, really more testing than one or two humans can do in less than months. So what I have set up is the app for Macintosh, which is code identical to the iOS iPhone app is actually installed on several of my computers. There are also simulators for iOS and android that have the app installed. I have artificial intelligence agents, namely GROK, installed on every computer that each drive an app and they systematically run the app through approximately 250 tests recording results and looking for obvious solutions to problems which are then passed to Claude code to bug and update the app, which is then updated across the test suite as the testing continues. The test suite has to be run repeatedly because sometimes fixing one bug will create other bugs, so you cannot just assume that a bug or a bug fix has an isolated effect. I get a report every 30 minutes within the CHANNEL app where GROK updates me as to his test progress. One feature common in messenger apps is that when you include a website address in a chat, the app generates a preview image and of course, Grok, being Elon Musks love child, decided to test YouTube links. and helpfully chose this one for the test… youtu.be/dQw4w9WgXcQ
