"There's no such thing as a good Republican!" "There's no such thing as a good Democrat!" That's tens of millions of fellow citizens, neighbors, friends, family members, etc. that y'all are talking about if you say either of these things. I reject both.

Respectfully disagree publicly with others’ perspectives. Respectfully refute public heresy. But Christian leaders with platforms shouldn’t get personal on social. Pick up the phone. Discuss in person. Resist the urge to crush and own. These are your brothers and sisters.
The world seems so dark. But tonight social media is full with pictures of candles, and each candle represents a life that Christ has rescued from the darkness, and which he is using to advance his kingdom. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it!

I’m open to being swayed regarding my opinions. I’ll be flexible with my preferences. But I’ll not budge a millimeter when it comes to Biblical convictions. Gods Word is forever settled. Perfect. Immutable. Authoritative. Sufficient. Come what may, I’ll hold fast to it.
Good Morning Saints! I challenge you all to share the Gospel with at least one person today! Be bold in Jesus Name, plant the seed and let God do the rest! AMEN!

Overreacting to the last bad thing is how we get more bad things.
Is grief a neglected part of processing trauma? Yes Does big pharma unduly influence medical care? Yes Is this good pastoral counsel? No It tries to correct an imbalance in one direction with an equal or greater imbalance. That maybe effective rhetoric, but it's harmful counsel.

I pray that pastors take time to talk with parents of children with special needs, and from combat veterans, before opining in public about ADHD or PTSD, so that they can give more informed, sensitive, helpful pastoral advice than this.

Let MacArthur be a cautionary tale for you if you are a pastor. You don't know nearly as much as you are tempted to believe you do. Arrogance will make you look like a fool and will inevitably hurt people. And learn about mental health if you want to care for people's souls.

Man, just imagine the bully pulpit a good and decent Republican candidate for President would have right now with how bad a job Biden is doing. The country seems out of control and rudderless. But, we nominated Donald Trump, so there goes that.
This is so bad for so many reasons. Overmedicalization is a problem. But so too is oversimplification.

The scarring effects of Trauma on the brain can be mapped on MRI— a kind of short-circuiting that can effect memory, cause panic attacks, and much more. This is what what we call PTSD. Saying it doesn’t exist is like pointing to a severed limb and saying “merely a flesh wound.”
Parents, if you just parent better and don’t get medical help for your child debilitated by OCD or PTSD, they’ll be better. Outcomes are only the result of choices! This kind of compromise is what happens when the foundation of your theology is cultural opposition, not the Word.
Just to be clear, this is so stupid because it’s the prosperity gospel.

There is such a thing as over-prescription and over-diagnosis in the current moment, but this is an extraordinarily irresponsible thing for a pastor to say regarding real, mental health conditions and neurological divergences.
