@nwl88444048 Clothes recycling charities have always been a business. The donations get sorted, baled, and sold by the trailer-load to second-hand shops across Eastern Europe. Fifteen years ago a full trailer went for about €20k, I bet it’s only gone up since.

Ukrainians bought €2,000,000,000 (BILLION) of real estate in Spain in 2026 (Spanish Notaries Council). Spain gave Ukraine €2.7 BILLION in 2022-2025. And €2 BILLION of it went straight into Spanish villas. Not bad.
