@BraikC_2004 i swear im not flexing but my bf did just show up with the orchid set today and i've never been happier to see a box of lego in my life

this goes for students too! No matter what sector you work in there is a union for you be it hospitality or retail or anything else, unions give workers power!

Remember: you have a legal right to join a union and to take part in IA. If a manager threatens the future of your career, team, or programme because of your TU activity, they are engaging in trade union victimisation and BREAKING THE LAW. Know your rights gov.uk/join-trade-uni…

@guidonld they did look absolutely amazing in fairness. never managed to try one but my friend did!

soon to be making vegan brownies for said picket 👀 if telling mgmt to treat their workers with dignity and respect isn't enough, come for the dogs and baked goods and i'm sure you'll pick up our sentiment about mgmt soon enough

excellent scenes at the @StirUni picket line today

Hi! My welcome week experience was somewhat marred by @GerryMcCormac refusing to negotiate with workers! Can you advise where I should contact to tell him he should stop his 1984-5 Thatcher impression?

Everyone’s welcome week experience is different - if you’re feeling overwhelmed, missing home or would just like to speak to someone remember our student support team and mental health advisers are available when you need them brnw.ch/21wCzx6

a fantastic opportunity for students to get stuck in and learn about political campaigning 🩷

Against the backdrop of a rising cost of living @StirUni continues to raise our rent and lower the quality of education it provides. What can we do? 1/

show up for your lecturers !! their teaching conditions are our learning conditions. both students and lecturers are suffering at the hands of senior management and it's unacceptable. solidarity is the only way forward 🩷

a little warning for university of stirling students going into accommodation: they have started charging for bedding which used to come as part of your room. make sure and buy some before you come as not to bother giving them money for low quality bedding !

you have pet the cat

edinburgh knows what's up

super important petition !! all people, students included, deserve safe and affordable housing and it's an absolute disgrace that this is something we need to ask for

No one should be homeless, but 12% of students have experienced homelessness during their studies. Sign our petition for rent controls, increased rights for students, and a student housing guarantee: nus-scotland.org.uk/fix_student_ho…
