#cgsy1&2 loved mixing cornflour&water today. Known as 'Oobleck', it is a non-Newtonian fluid. That is, it acts like a liquid when being poured, but like a solid when a force is acting on it. You can grab it and then it will ooze out of your hands. #ScienceWeek2021 @ChaseLyncroft

Do try this at home! Year1&2 conducted #experiments to find out what affects ice melting. This one was amazing! Compared to placing the ice on plastic and wood, the ice melted so quickly when placed on metal because it’s a better conductor! @ChaseLyncroft #Science #remoteteaching
