I don’t think it’s ever been so important for town to get recruitment right as it is this summer. Only 18 first team players, some of which are expected to leave or not be involved. Both of the top 2 goal-scorers gone. Hope the new DoF (whoever it may be) likes being busy! #htafc

Crazy that our top scorer this season is probably going to leave on a free and that our second top scorer will return to his parent club. People can argue that they haven’t been good enough but how much worse would it have been without them? #htafc

Can’t believe how much negativity I’m reading about the Wagner rumours because of his career since #htafc Joined a sinking ship at Schalke where the club was in a shambles. Had Young Boys competitive in the UCL and got a poor Norwich team to the playoffs. All in stronger leagues.

I’ve felt more connection to Duff than almost any player this season. Feel as though he’s been severely hindered with decision making from above and injury issues but regardless, the football and results haven’t been good enough and I think the squad is more capable. Real shame.

I’m never a fan of being reactionary in the free agent market but what CB options are out there at the moment? We finished the game with 0 centre halves on the pitch. I’ll always love this club and team but finding it very difficult to be anything other than apathetic atm #htafc

Regarding Helik and the ‘need’ for a replacement this window (which I disagree with). New boy Roosken has said in interviews that he can play as a fullback, wingback and in a back 3. So the ‘replacement’ is technically in the door already - should we need him to fill in #htafc

Dion Charles and Joe Taylor are individually excellent signings at this level. Getting them both in the same window is even better. They can help relieve the pressure off each other whilst they get firing, what a statement! #htafc

Fairly confused by some of the chat around Josh Koroma and people being pleased to see him linked away. Not a perfect striker or WB but better than most of our options at the minute. One of the only players to chip in with a few G&A this season too #htafc

We need to be bringing in at least two, central midfielders this window. One who is good at receiving the ball, dictating play, passing and breaking lines and an attacking midfield to chip in with the G&As. Kasumu, Wiles and Hogg will all have important roles to play too #htafc

I would really like Alfie May to sign with us - proven goalscorer at this level. But I don’t think that’s our weakest area of the pitch. Midfield is where the money needs spending as a priority, especially now Rudoni’s gone. #htafc

Regarding the Rosenior links, I would be thrilled if we pulled it off but I think it’s too unlikely. Maybe he’d back himself with a decent budget to get us out of league one and build something longer term but I’d be surprised to see him drop down after the season he’s had #htafc
