Chief Cal 👽 @ChiefCal_

@DodgersNation Yeah I’d probably bring him back for 7M a year

Misiorowski looks like such a dweeb 🤣

Brandon Woodruff tryna jump into the rotation for the World Series is too funny 🤣

The Dodgers won back-to-back World Series titles. We as a fanbase have been so spoiled. I hate seeing this team lose like this, however, this might be a good reminder to all of us that getting to the playoffs and the World Series is a privilege and not a guarantee. There are 29 fanbases out there that dream of that situation.

Does Skubal resign? Never in a million years did I expect game 1 to be the last game he pitched in a Dodgers jersey. But at this point I think 25% chance he stays and 75% he signs somewhere else.

Kyle Tucker being the only player to show up this October for the Dodgers really is funny, I gotta admit

It is what it is. Brewers are a very likeable team…I’d probably need to be put on suicide watch if we got swept by the Padres. Love this team 💙 Their window is far from closed. Regroup and run it back next year.

Don’t let us get 1!

Do I think the Dodgers are going to come back from 3-0? No I don’t. Am I going to convince myself that we’re coming back from 3-0 as soon as something good happens tonight? Absolutely 😂

Dave Roberts has more job security than a Supreme Court Justice. He's got a lifetime appointment. He's a lock for the Hall of Fame. No Dodger will ever wear No. 30 again. Dave's had some managerial masterclasses the last two years. Tonight wasn't his night tho.

It’s been a good run. Not saying he had a perfect roster to work with, but I think it’s time the Dodgers move on from Dave Roberts. If he does have control over lineup & relief decisions, really bad choices this series.

My toxic trait is that I’ll throw a perfect game against the computer on the easiest difficult in MLB the show and then talk about it with my wife as if I just pitched perfect game in the World Series. “I’m telling you babe…my slider was LETHAL today” 😂

Not crazy about Rojas at 3B and Muncy on the bench…

Down 3-1 against the Braves in 2020 Down 2-1 against the Padres in 2024 Down 3-2 against the Blue Jays in 2025 I’m feeling down just like the rest of you. But it’s not over.

I also don’t care how lost he looks at the plate…you can’t bench Shohei Ohtani if he says he’s healthy enough to play.

It only takes 1 game to flip the script. I’ve seen this team come back from the dead too many times to accept that they are gonna go down without a fight. Game 3 is MASSIVE.

I understand why Dave Roberts doesn't want to and won't sit Shohei Ohtani or Will Smith, but there's really no good reason they are hitting back-to-back right now in the middle of the order.

@JordfromtheO What is that the Icee Slushie boss?! 🤣

Andy Pages's father is a carpenter in Cuba. His main job was fixing up boats. He had friends who worked with wood, and they would give him lumber, and he would make his son baseball bats. That is where the bats came from. A man in a shop, making them by hand, out of whatever his friends could spare. Tonight that son drove in the two runs that put the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Championship Series. Here is the distance between those two sentences. Pages grew up in Cuba playing soccer and basketball and baseball. He was one of the most recognized young players on the island and he never played a game in the Cuban National Series. At 16 he told his family he was going to the Dominican Republic to try to get a contract with a Major League organization. Here is what he says about telling his father. "When I left Cuba, from the moment I told him I was leaving, he just started crying." "It was the first time I ever saw him cry." Then he went eight months without anybody signing him. Scouts told him he did not have the speed to play the outfield in the major leagues. After the Dodgers finally signed him, people questioned his weight. He did not go back to Cuba for about seven years. When he finally did, he brought something with him. "When I went back to Cuba, I took him a few of my bats." The man who carved his first bats out of scrap got handed the real ones. Now here is the part that is still true today. Nobody in his family except his wife has ever watched him play in person. Not one game. Major League games are not broadcast in Cuba. So his parents and his 18 year old sister follow his career through box scores and clips on YouTube. Phone calls frequently do not go through. When his parents do get through, it is usually around midnight where he lives, and he is asleep. Bad storms knock out the lines and he can go days without hearing anything from home. In July he made the All-Star team and could not reach his parents to tell them. He said he was not sure they knew. This is how he describes it. "Anything can happen to me in a game, and it won't be harder than all of that." The thing he says gives him the most joy is not the All-Star team. It is that people walk up to his parents in Cuba just to tell them how well their son is doing. Tonight, in Atlanta, Andy Pages went 2 for 3 and drove in two runs in the seventh inning to break a tie against the Atlanta Braves. The Dodgers won 4 to 1 and the series with it. Somewhere in Cuba tonight, a carpenter is going to find out what his kid did from a box score.

If you get a 6 piece chicken from Popeyes and it comes with 4 legs…does it really count as 6 pieces? Asking for a friend 😅

Totally fine with shortening the MLB season by 8 games to allow for more off days Love expanding the NLDS to a 7-game series Choosing your opponent is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. Just re-seed the way the NFL does

Major League Baseball proposed cutting the regular-season schedule from 162 games to 154 games in a bargaining session with the MLBPA today. Also part of its proposal: higher seeds in playoffs get to choose their opponents, and division series expand to seven games.
