Saying Pokemon locals would die without CP events is saying locals aren't worth going to for it's own sake. Other TCGs have healthy locals because the game is fun, have prizes or feed into bigger events. Forcing worlds grinders to attend your league once a month isn't healthy
Not saying I agree with Liam's takes but I feel like some of y'all are assuming the worst when all Liam wants is to see some high level Pokemon TCG be played
I think having just one event per year with exclusively top tier players would be really cool to watch.
@starostamp Not sure if this is even a serious post, but in case it is, you're just wrong. Azul (like some other top players) might not care much about the broader Pokémon franchise, but is very much a fan of the Pokémon TCG, and has played for many years before money ever entered the scene.
