UPDATE ///: Officials telling us media witnesses to get into the vans now. We'll stop for a security check, which takes 15 minutes, then to the death-chamber building for #DustinHiggs' execution. Can't take my cellphone beyond here. Likely back in an hour or so.

The Supreme Court has just ruled and lifted a stay that had been issued by the Fourth Circuit, meaning the federal government can now proceed with the execution of #DustinHiggs.

We haven't been told yet that we are loading into the vans bound for the death-chamber building for #DustinHiggs' execution. But if practice follows previous days, we should be leaving soon. Won't be able to take a cellphone beyond this point, though. Will update when we return.
