@jparrish99 @morganawatts17 @Alabama_Soccer It’s awesome for athletes that will benefit from this change though! There’s not big enough clubs in most areas for all athletes from the same school who want to play to get to play at a good level of competition. There’s definitely positives.

@jparrish99 @morganawatts17 @Alabama_Soccer I see HS coaches exploiting this change by making it “highly suggested” (mandatory) for athletes to play specific clubs/teams in off season... complete disadvantage to lower income athletes who can’t fund high club fees. Advantages will be even higher for HS coaches w/club ties.

Mad respect for all the coaches that coach in these winter temps... as a player it was no big deal, but now I’m too scared to look at my toes because I think they have frost bite and I can’t feel my fingers as I type this... ears? forget those they fell off about 20 mins in.

That’s a wrap! ⚽️ Congratulations to the champions @HoustonDash, and to all the #NWSL players that participated. First pro sports league to return, and 0 COVID cases all tournamrnt. The clubs and league should be so proud for setting the standard. #NWSLChallengeCup

Stunning moment of raw emotion that transcends sports. On day Women’s Soccer becomes America’s first team pro-sports league to return to action, Casey Short and Julie Ertz are overwhelmed by emotion taking knee during National Anthem 🙌 #BlackLivesMatter

@nomadpdx @NWSL You’re probably right on the rule change but I do think the media and all the negative hype around it made them do it so quick. They were just trying to get + press to keep the $ coming... Was in no way right though. Glad they repealed it 👍

This is why no one needs to be social media FBI agents & place blame when no one knows the real situation. Kriegs did everything right BUT still got a + test. We can be mad they don’t get to play but the hate that’s gone around over these + tests isn’t okay. ⚽️💜🦁

THIS is true leadership 💜 Orlando Pride is out of the #NWSLChallengeCup due to +COVID results. Harris, one of the innocent players impacted, not only doesn’t feed into the negativity being shared about teammates/staff but ENDS it. THIS is what a TEAM player looks like.

To the fans... My ask is that you stop digging for things that cannot change the situation at this point. My hope is you start checking in and supporting these players and the staff. We could use some positivity and love. Thank you. Stay Safe. -Cap

“We can’t be here four years from now realizing we made a big mistake today.” Instead, it only took two. But as I said in 2018, change isn’t about 1 person, it’s about reforming a system - and with or without Carlos Cordiero, that system remains intact.

An absolute honor to reach 100 caps tonight!! A great win with the BEST teammates. I also have to mention how special our anthem was tonight lead by the @AmericanOutlaws. One of the coolest moments in my career. 🧢 thank you @USWNT I really love wearing this crest ❤️🤍💙
