In a notice dated April 8, Nema said Kenyans have 90 days to stop using plastic bags from the date of the notice. @ItsMainaKageni : I agree this is a good move but what is the alternative? What are we going to use? #MainaAndKingangi
@Classic105Kenya @ItsMainaKageni Good Morning @ItsMainaKageni Nema should also understand that most users of this plastic bags are our hospital...yet they haven't given us an alternative....
@Classic105Kenya @ItsMainaKageni Big container for every block of the plots can help if govt will support it #MainaAndKingangi
@Classic105Kenya @ItsMainaKageni Which politician had promised to give all Nairobi households a waste basket?
@Classic105Kenya @ItsMainaKageni Good mooooooorning Maina, unless NEMA comes up with a solution themselves like designing larger bins and install them everywhere in the city. @Classic105Kenya #MainaAndKingangi
@Classic105Kenya @ItsMainaKageni Back to dirty streets
@Classic105Kenya @ItsMainaKageni Its norms to Kenyan gvnt burn things/ even blocks road without alternative.#Tumezoe hii government.
@Classic105Kenya @ItsMainaKageni The problem with this government is making hasty decisions that don’t make sense, even in Rwanda and Europe waste is collected in plastic bags. They should provide solutions not frustrating people
@Classic105Kenya @ItsMainaKageni Maina the problem with Nairobi drainage starts with traders dumping all waste along drainages instead of using bins. Go around the city and estates and see how clogged they have made the lines and when it rains it becomes a problem for water to move, @SakajaJohnson
@Classic105Kenya @ItsMainaKageni Maina eeeehh hatuwezi acha kutumea #MainaAndKingangi
