Why was #Chevron important? Look at the size of the Executive Branch. DOE has ~15k employees, equal to the number of Congressional staff in both chambers. On 1 issue. If Congress wants to do the Executive branches job, they’ll need millions of employees. rollcall.com/2024/06/28/sup…

Thinking of the movie Cars, you can imagine every small town should probably want a charging/refueling station for freight in their community. Trucks that HAVE to take designated routes is nearly guaranteed to bring visitors and money.

Honestly #EnergyTwitter, the more @ferc Commissioner @ChristieFERC described his dissent, the more I liked Order 1920. He highlighted some of the best part and I’m proud of my former colleagues who spent years working to this moment.

@TKavulla I’m not sure I understood your whole 🧵. Could you describe what you mean by hedging? Is it simply a bilateral contract for power? When can consumers hedge in the process? Are retail consumers able to hedge or is it their utilities that would need to do so? Thanks!

@SolarInMASS Just a reminder that FERC evaluated Everette in 2023, and the expert opinion of everyone on whether it is needed was that ISO-NE said it isn’t necessary. Everyone else was 🤷‍♂️, leaning toward it being unnecessary. youtube.com/live/-DGQ2LxKk…
