@samtobo1 @easyJet Hi Sam. yes, I did get away on 11 day trip to Iceland and the Antigen was accepted for flying out to Iceland. On my return journey to UK, I needed another Antigen test before I boarded my flight and PCR test after landing back in England.

@easyJet I am flying to Iceland & appears to be conflicting info on your Website regarding what type of Tests are required. For double vaccinated passengers, you mention that either a Negative PCR OR Negative ANTIGEN. But in Before you fly section it says PCR-RT is only option

@shane18869508 @PassportIRL Still get an Irish one as an Irish one will enable your daughter to live freely in all EU/EEA countries while the British one will only let you live automatically in UK, Ireland, Channel Islands, and Isle of Mann.

I have checked the Icelandic Government website & it states fully vaccinated passengers can show either a PCR or Antigen Test (ie both tests are acceptable for fully vacinated) Can you please explain the discrepancy in the info on your website

@MarkNesbitt1888 @PassportIRL Interesting to hear the discrepancies that exist between documents. In my expired British Passports, it lists Dublin as Place of Birth but in my UK Driving Licence, Place of Birth is Ireland. In my Irish Passport, place of Birth as Baile Átha Cliath/ Dublin

@MarkNesbitt1888 @PassportIRL So you cant send your passport back for amendments because the place of birth is correct as all births outside Ireland the 3 letter country code of birth is used as place of birth ie GBR for Great Britain.

@MarkNesbitt1888 @PassportIRL GBR stands for Great Britain. Anyone born outside Ireland has the Country of Birth listed as a place of Birth. So because you were born in Great Britain your place of birth is recorded as GBR. Had you been born in San Francisco your birthplace would be recorded as USA

@WilsonDring @stuart_bestwick His children had to apply through Foreign birth registration as they're were applying through a grandparent. As blair's own mother was born in Ireland he is automatically an Irish citizen so can apply for an Irish passport straight away

@nevermindgap @maryswitzer666 @dfatirl @simoncoveney @IrelandEmbGB Yes, I guess you're right they wouldn't have the manpower to deal with the volume of calls that could be generated hence the reason why Dublin no was given. But no doubt @dfatirl will coordinate their response with @IrelandEmbGB who can offer on the ground help to people in UK
