40,000 migrants are living in limbo in the UK & are inadmissible to the asylum system. Any migrant who had entered the UK after March 7 2023, without prior permission, is barred from claiming asylum and can be potentially liable for removal. So why weren't they immediately deported as soon as they set foot in the UK? Instead they were bussed to hotels, given benefits, use of NHS etc What was the point of the new law if it is not being enacted? Tory Government has no intention of stopping the invasion of illegals across the Channel. All talk and no action. ft.com/content/7b2c94… via @ft
@CllrBSilvester The point of no return is spitting distance away
@CllrBSilvester It’s only when we start deporting huge numbers that they will stop coming
@CllrBSilvester @RichardRich021 The problem is where to send them to, when their home countries won’t take them back, or are deemed ‘unsafe’ by leftie lawyers, all the while Rwanda is blocked too?
@CllrBSilvester The Law ⚖ is clear until they go before a judge .....
@CllrBSilvester So evict them from their taxpayer funded accommodation, stop any benefits, healthcare etc. With no valid ID and hence no right to reside or work here, many of them will volunteer to leave.
@CllrBSilvester Simple. These "asylum seekers" have learned to beat the system. They throw their papers and then say they're from a country that they KNOW will refuse their return. You can't deport someone to a country that won't accept them.
@CllrBSilvester It seems part of a much bigger plan across the West. Look at New York for example... Illegals also being encouraged and poured into hotels.
@CllrBSilvester Because the uk government are cowards
@CllrBSilvester As normal it’s just words from our WEF government
@CllrBSilvester Told you before. Many times. The UK does not have any Deportation / Extradition / Returns Agreements with Iran, Iraq, Syria, Eritrea, Sudan, Ethiopia, Afghanistan…The list goes on. Therefore, we can’t and don’t deport to these countries. Where do you want to deport them to?
