Odd that trust in anyone’s hiring is being discussed. My understanding is that anyone with an appropriate degree is an almost-automatic hire in this teacher shortage. And once into the union, difficult to un-hire. (Not disparaging all the excellent teachers.)

NDP are weird. There are so few jobs in LNG, and it is totally incompatible with everything in CleanBC. What are Horgan and crew afraid of? Who is giving them all this terrible advice? Bizarre how they try to rationalize this. Why not devote the $$ for remote renewable projects?

Teacher shortages are in part caused by teachers leaving the profession citing stress, poor health and being overworked. Reducing/greening teachers’ commutes is a proven way to reduce stress, boost physical and mental health, and improve morale and productivity. In 2007... 1/2
