@Cloti4A Yeah, that's a strong hit on the original. The developers clearly don't understand what made FF7 so special. And it's very evident in a lot of the action. How they ruined part of the story with those timelines.

So uhh… they just completely removed the part in which everyone at Nibelheim tried to gaslight Cloud and Tifa into believing the accident never happened. Why.
They made me so uninterested about the “new mysteries” in the trilogy that the only thing I’m looking forward to in the last game is Cloud and Tifa’s dynamic, as it is the one aspect that remained more attached to the OG themes but also improved in any possible way.

Even though Rebirth is a better game. Rebirth didn't give me the emotional nostalgia that Remake did while playing it. Odd.
