This is not a joke. The step back three made James Harden an MVP. The move was so signature it changed his career and the NBA forever. At his peak in 2020, 30% of Harden’s shots were step back threes and he was making 37% of them. 4 years later, a 7-foot-5 Victor Wembanyama now leads the NBA in step back three-point percentage… AS A ROOKIE. If you thought Harden broke the game... Wemby is about to obliterate it.
@ClutchPoints He’s 7’4, who is going to block his shot
@ClutchPoints You forgot to mention wemby attempts 0.7 threes per game. You know, for context
@ClutchPoints Harden is the most overrated player of this generation. Russ should be starting over him. Harden is a B- player at best
@ClutchPoints He literally copied Manu Ginobili’s game minus the defense. Manu just happens to be a lot better at it and knew how to play in a system.
@ClutchPoints @ThunderNationCP If the NBA wants the All Star weekend to rate higher, simply add Caitlin Clark vs Wemby in a logo threes contest
@ClutchPoints Wemby is impossible to guard. He is taller than everyone and has a high release point on his shot. There is literally no one in the league who can block his shot. Just look at the picture in the post, he has the ball way above his 7'5" head. Nothing you can do at that point.
@ClutchPoints I understand why Jordan has a step-back. Kobe, Melo, and Harden…. A 7ft, 5in dude(Paaaause) should not be leading the league in Step-back 3s!
