Here it is, the whole thing, 33 years later. First saw it in the theater with my eighth-grade Pop Warner team. When the street scene was still in it. All the lines from it lived on, and hold up. Best sports movie ever.

$TSLA So, my dad had the FSD trial for a month. He loved it. Could not stop talking about it. Trial ended 2 weeks ago and I asked him if I should upgrade his account for the $100/month. My dad…being my dad…said no because $100 is not worth it. Now, I pay the $100 on my Tesla because I know it’s worth it. My dad drives 10x more than me so I knew he knew it was worth it, but I gave him a week to go back to driving normal. Few nights ago he called me and told me to upgrade the software because he can’t go back to driving 😂 FSD is the future. Best real world use case of AI. Just needs to penetrate more markets but man if they can get my dad to pay $100/month, they can get anyone to pay it.

Tesla owners insured with Lemonade who use FSD can save up to 50% on their insurance rates when the system is engaged, as it is 7x safer than a human driver. Lemonade gains access to the vehicle's telemetry data, which distinguishes between miles driven by FSD and miles driven by the human. The program is rolling out first in Arizona this month, then Oregon, with potential expansion to other states. Depending on several factors, FSD could essentially pay for itself through the savings.

After reading through the 33-page term sheet for the Chiefs' new stadium in Kansas, I think it's one of the most lopsided stadium deals in NFL history. Kansas is essentially giving the Chiefs $3 billion (stadium funding + mixed-use development funding + tax incentives), yet getting virtually nothing in return. The Chiefs get to keep 100% of the revenue from all stadium activities, including ticket sales, concessions, sponsorships, naming rights deals, personal seat licenses, and more. That applies to NFL games and all other events (concerts, basketball games, etc.). Kansas will own the stadium, with the Chiefs paying $7 million in rent annually. But that money doesn't go back to the state; it goes into an account the Chiefs can use for renovations, repairs, and operational expenses. That means the Chiefs can use their own rent money to hire stadium security, parking staff, and concession vendors throughout the season. I know Kansas had to offer a great deal to get the Chiefs to leave Arrowhead, but this is worse than I expected. Here's a full breakdown of everything I found in the term sheet: huddleup.substack.com/p/the-kansas-c…

I don’t use hemp, but I’ll defend your right to. Now Washington wants to wipe out a $25 billion industry and override hemp laws in 25 states. Kentucky regulates hemp responsibly. We allow a simple 5mg hemp drink because adults can make their own decisions. We also know legal, regulated products are always safer than pushing everything back to the black market. To the lawmakers pushing this backward policy: we tried prohibition. It failed. Let adults make their own choices, stay out of businesses, and leave state laws alone.

Damn straight. If I had vaccinated the 6000 patients I treated with Covid, I would have made $1.5 million. Instead, I spent $250,000+ in legal fees defending my license for prescribing ivermectin.
