Warning! This 13 minute clip of information might completely change the way you think about kicking!!! Full version here: youtu.be/BDy40HGFL8I 🏌️‍♂️ A GOLF SWING AND A KICKING SWING ARE NOT THE SAME… BUT THEY SHARE TWO POWERFUL PRINCIPLES. 🏈 There are plenty of reasons I DON’T consider a golf swing the same as a kicking swing. But there are two incredible similarities that most athletes have probably never thought about. 1️⃣ KEEP THE LIMB LONG A professional golfer works to keep the lead arm as straight and extended as possible through the swing. A kicker should think similarly about the kicking leg—limit unnecessary bend and create a long, powerful lever through the swing. Why? Because excessive bending can interrupt the transfer of energy through the body and into the ball. 2️⃣ POWER STARTS AT THE CONNECTION TO THE BODY For the golfer, the lead arm connects to the body at the shoulder. For the kicker, the kicking leg connects to the body at the hip. That connection is critical. The arm isn’t creating power by itself. The leg isn’t creating power by itself. The BODY creates the power—and transfers it through the shoulder or hip into the swinging limb. Now add forward momentum to that connected, extended swing… 🔥 More body involvement 🔥 More efficient energy transfer 🔥 More natural acceleration 🔥 More POWER The goal isn’t to swing your arm harder. The goal isn’t to swing your leg harder. Use the entire body to power the swing. That’s one of the foundational concepts behind the ProForm kicking technique. Power comes naturally when the entire body works as one. #ProFormKicking #EvolveWithProForm #ProFormVirtual #NFL #KickingCoach

Wanna see me get real sideways… pretend like a sub varsity game doesn’t matter. It freaking matters. Every kid in our program matters. Their success matters. The standard don’t change no matter the game or the opponent. @stevehoffman74 taught me that.

Talent gets you there. Process keeps you there. Nick Saban said it best: “You must focus on the things that have made us good all season long.” Championship teams don't chase the moment. They live the process. 🎥 Watch the clip.
