Why is it that no one says India is not diverse enough? or China? Or Singapore? Or Mali? Or Mexico etc? But Ireland, America, France, Italy, Canada & so on, all these majority white countries have to be diverse or there is something fundamentally wrong with them? I was told to “educate myself” today, here’s some education for you liberal retards, I grew up in a Canada that had the richest middle class in the world, a dollar worth more than the US, you didn’t wait 12hrs in the ER to see a doctor, we didn’t have hundreds of thousands of addicts walking around like zombies stealing everyone’s shit, we didn’t have millions of third world migrants running around stabbing people and shooting up businesses, we had a fiscally responsible government that invested in Canada, people were happy, people got along, young people could easily afford a home and start a family, after a decade of liberal decline, we have out of control immigration, out of control crime,drug use, government spending, corruption on top of corruption, trillions in debt, an insane housing market, insane grocery prices, thousands of deaths every year due to healthcare wait times, a youth unemployment crisis and the worst fucking economy in the G7 and OECD, every single aspect of Canadian life has gone for a complete shit! Yet I need to educate myself? Go fuck yourselves you liberal fucks, you have decimated one of the greatest countries in the world now reduced to a laughing stock and used as an example how not to govern a country.

It is not just 911 that is the problem. It is the tens of thousands of Islamist/jihadist attacks that have occurred since then. 64,700 recorded Islamist terrorist incidents which resulted in a minimum of 243,124 people killed. 2001 through April 2024: The University of Maryland’s Global Terrorism Database (GTD) identifies those attacks which are clearly indicated as having an Islamist motivation. This is the source for the above numbers. Islamophobia and 911 are not the problem. It is the unrelenting series of attacks since then that are creating the problem.

Every dollar taxed from productive activity carries a deadweight cost before it reaches anyone's dinner table. Capital formation lifts people out of poverty. You build wealth through savings, property rights, and voluntary exchange, none of which $22 trillion in redistributed spending actually produced.

It'll never happen, but the networks should just run their broadcasts from 9/11/2001 all day this September 11. We forgot.

Almost every modern political revolution owes something to the French Revolution, which was the first great experiment in using ideology to completely remake society - and the first to demonstrate how quickly utopian promises can become political terror. When crowds stormed the Bastille and the National Assembly proclaimed the Rights of Man, people were convinced that equality, liberty and fraternity would at last liberate humanity from centuries of privilege and oppression. But the Revolution quickly radicalised. Those who clung to any older notions of order, moderation or even mere disagreement were denounced as enemies of the people. The Committee of Public Safety, led by Maximilien Robespierre, claimed that virtue required terror. The Law of Suspects opened the door to arbitrary arrest. The Revolutionary Tribunal dispensed justice with terrifying speed: between 1793 and 1794, thousands were guillotined in Paris and the provinces - aristocrats, priests, moderate revolutionaries and ordinary citizens whose only crime was insufficient enthusiasm. The original dream of equal rights under law was replaced by the demand for equal submission to the revolutionary state. Private property, independent institutions and individual conscience were treated as obstacles to the collective will. In the name of perfect equality, the Revolution created a new aristocracy of virtue - one that ruled by fear and blood. The French Revolution is the classic demonstration of how easily the pursuit of egalitarian ideals lose any restraint and respect for individual rights and produce terror rather than freedom. The road from “all men are equal” to “death to the enemies of equality” proved shorter and bloodier than the idealists ever imagined. And it's a history that has been repeated many times since.

One of the most troubling shifts in our “free and democratic” society is how quickly questioning our institutions has become confused with attacking them. Questioning government is not anti-government. Questioning public health is not anti-science. Questioning the justice system is not anti-law. Questioning the media is not anti-truth. Questioning elected officials is not an attack. Refusing to answer the people you represent is. Transparency and accountability are how our institutions, and the people entrusted to lead them, earn and maintain public trust. When legitimate questions are met with ridicule, labels, censorship or personal attacks instead of answers, public trust is destroyed. People begin to wonder not only why the questions are so difficult to answer, but why those asking them need to be silenced in the first place. A healthy democracy does not shame, coerce or intimidate people into compliance. It does not fear scrutiny. It depends on it.
