It improves market structure, not market integrity. The mechanism makes sense, but calling it a guarantee is a stretch
part of the "launchpad meta" that everyone is used to, is seeing some gimmicked token officially tied to the launchpad. what does this mean for new unestablished launchpads?: it directly ties the success of the launchpad to the token, and in most cases, the lifetime of the token often overshadows the product the team came to build. look at "lesgo" for example, it launched ~2 weeks ago and reached an all time high of 10m, and is now down 95% since then, sitting at 400k. as a result of their main token slowing down, so did their platform. however, platforms can still have runners built by communities (memecoins) without having an official platform token. meme.fun is a home for meme coins to grow and send, not a one time extraction on a platform token.
