@thsottiaux 【Official】Weekly Codex reset lands tomorrow before 10am PST. Announced today — usage refreshes in that window.
@0xtigs Known bug: Codex Desktop keeps writing Crashpad dumps to ~/Library/Application Support/com.openai.codex/web/Crashpad/pending, GBs per day. Still open: github.com/openai/codex/i…
@LazyGooooo @laopai1990 That "Selected model is at capacity" loop (app, CLI and web alike) is tracked here, still open since Sep 8: github.com/openai/codex/i…
@ivanainai The 429s are filed here ("exceeded retry limit, last status: 429 Too Many Requests"), with repros on macOS and Linux. Still open: github.com/openai/codex/i…
@mkeremturhan @thsottiaux Drain reports are still being filed after the fix note: one short GPT-6 Astra High task ate a freshly reset Plus 5-hour limit in ~3.5 min. Still open: github.com/openai/codex/i…
Correction: Tibo says the issue is already corrected, OpenAI is reaching out to the ~40K affected accounts, and credits will be added to them.
【Official】OpenAI confirms ~40K accounts got the wrong Codex usage limits Tibo: weekend fast-drain reports traced to applied limits not matching the user's selected plan. No reset announced yet.
There were reports of usage draining faster than anticipated for some users over the weekend. We've identified approximately 40,000 accounts that had an inconsistency on which usage limits where the actual usage that was applied did not correspond to their actual selected plan.
@thsottiaux For anyone still hitting "Selected model is at capacity" after this reset: it's tracked here, open since Sep 8: github.com/openai/codex/i…
@StatsWire This one is filed on GitHub: Usage analytics shows ~80% gpt-6-astra while every chat says 100% GPT-6.1 Sol. Still open: github.com/openai/codex/i…
【Official】Day 15 Codex reset fully live Tibo: “Nevermind… and reset. Enjoy.”
Day 15/ Nevermind, we're still cooking... and reset. Enjoy.
@Mr_Lightspeed @thsottiaux Same Windows Desktop freeze / long-session memory / main-process crash cluster is tracked here — still open: github.com/openai/codex/i…
@JoshXT @thsottiaux Same weekly-quota burn / cliff cluster is tracked here — still open: github.com/openai/codex/i…
@taythe1__ @thsottiaux Same class of sudden weekly-quota cliff is tracked here — still open: github.com/openai/codex/i…
@jetfam @thsottiaux @OpenAI @OpenAIDevs Same class of sudden weekly-quota cliff is tracked here — still open: github.com/openai/codex/i…
@nicksdot @thsottiaux If weekly burns in <48h with no workflow change, that’s the same cluster as #54677 (still open): github.com/openai/codex/i…
@KronikStudio @thsottiaux Same weekly-quota burn / cliff cluster is tracked here — still open: github.com/openai/codex/i…
Desktop open bugs (bug+app): 13,145 (+110) Collected 2026-10-19 09:05 HKT github.com/openai/codex/i…
@GKev1n Mac Crashpad pending dumps with no cleanup — still open: github.com/openai/codex/i… Reports keep hitting 100–300+ GB; app stays usable with zero warning. Closed ≠ fixed.
@TokenGremlin Same class of failure is tracked here — still open: github.com/openai/codex/i… Weekly meter cliffs / unexplained dumps (incl. after resets) keep landing in that thread. Closed ≠ fixed.
@quigleyBits @thsottiaux Same weekly-quota cliff class is still open: github.com/openai/codex/i… Instant zero / overnight dumps without matching local usage keep getting filed there.
