Introducing a new approach for training #ML models using noisy data that works by dynamically assigning importance weights to both individual instances and class labels, thus reducing the impact of noisy examples. Learn more about it at goo.gle/35hTK2b
It's been a while since my last update. Since then I have been accepted to do my Data Science Masters and started the arduous task of re-learning algebra and linear algebra. Regarding programming- I've done some algorithms and done a fair bit of C++. Will try to tweet more!
I've stopped using the 100 days of code hashtag because I'm mainly using this Twitter as a place I can just ramble to myself and use it as a store for shitty pieces of code I write and my thoughts are various points in my learning.
I've nearly filled my first notebook with handwritten C++ exercises. There's something about handwriting code that helps me learn it at such a faster rate. It's oddly relaxing too?
It's been a while since I last tweeted. I've still managed to write some code every day for a month now. I covered the beginner aspects of Python and moved to C++ to shake things up. I'm enjoying the change. I'll be back to OOP in Python soon enough though.
I'll settle on this for now. I could further shorten it with a comparison function and have that run within the loop. I was happy with the logic of 'If A wins, A = A' and 'If B wins A = B' while generating a new B with each iteration of the loop.

day 19? After a busy couple of days I was glad to sit down and work on a new (still relatively basic) project. This is the start. There are a few areas that need changing/ improving that I'll tackle later on.

Sat down and did a quick guess the number game. I tried to use a few different methods because I think I've done this in the past? Anyway it went alright. Could do with a few bugs sorting out but I'll get around to that in the future.

Long day at work = less time for coding. I did some improvements and necessary changes to Blackjack. I could have easily powered out a half-arsed attempt then checked the solution but I'm enjoying the slower progress and the challenge.

Do any of you have a particular go-to music when programming or working in general? I keep automatically putting on Michael Jackson which is weird because I never really rated him before I started learning to code.
I was procrastinating about starting the Blackjack project. I've made a bare skeleton that is missing a lot of stuff that I'll do tomorrow. Today was a good day, though! I didn't code a lot but I got my head in the right frame of mine to approach this problem.

I finished the calculator. It was a fun project but has highlighted some areas I need a bit more work on. I imagine this will be the cycle going forward: learn, project, learn more, project etc.
I'm gonna do a bit of recap on lists and dictionaries next.

Day 12!
Started the day off with a Days in the Month exercise. Slowly wrapping my head around returning outputs, lists and dictionaries- I'll just keep showing up and practise and I'll eventually get it
