How many hours per day do you code?

@Codinglover1 when i was a full time software engineer - somewhere between 8-12 hours a day. it was exhausting

@Codinglover1 Until 2010 i used to code 12 hours a day, but after wards, it's less than 2 hours a week, too much interruptions

@Codinglover1 I’m still trying to break in to a full-time web developer job so I’m able to put in around 2 1/2 hours a day

@Codinglover1 I'm still on a coding boot camp so I'm coding somewhere between 7 and 10 hours a day during the week and either coding or doing related stuff a couple of hours each Saturday and Sunday. Trying to maintain that @github streak, too! 😂

@Codinglover1 just in flow it could even last for 4 hours or for 20min depends upon my mood. When I like playing with CSS then it could go for hours but if I am stuck somewhere and it's taking time then I go take a nap.

@Codinglover1 Literally have worked on troubleshooting things in emergencies up to 41 hours before I dropped. But, at 50 now?? It is all over the place... Self employed, and literally work more than I ever would for someone else. Until this current project is done, I am probably working 18hrs.

@Codinglover1 If you honestly calculate pure "brain under pressure time", it'll be no more than 3-4 hours per day. Ok, 5-6 hours maximum and occasionally, or if you're cyborg. Even for those who write about 10-12 hours😁

@Codinglover1 3 hrs in office (ideally) out of 8 hrs of working day. Then 4 hours of study + coding after work. 😁 That’s because I don’t have a life Haha
