@cyncab @truthinitiative They will always need a bogeyman to stay relevant and continue to raise donations and pay staff.... If there is no “alarm” they become irrelevant; e.g.: “We must continue to fight”. Candidly, I bet they are secretly delighted with this outcome.

@gopaulblair @parscale @realDonaldTrump @DanScavino I cannot comprehend the political upside/basis for doing this. Is there any additional "color" as to what the their thinking is? Really does look to be election suicide... what am I missing

@DrAngelaJanis @cyncab @AmerMedicalAssn Follow the money... if “smoking” (combustible tobacco) went away, think of the drain in healthcare spending that would result. Why aren’t they demanding to “ban” combustible cigarettes too? The bias is obvious.

We welcome comments on our interpretation of HR 3942...it seems to have un-intended ramifications on small business engaged in interstate wholesale distribution. If you agree - please pass along.

@sfataorg Please read uscode.house.gov/view.xhtml?req…) very closely and look at how section §376 (NOT §376A) with the revised definitions would affect interstate wholesale distribution. HR 3942 has INSANE implications on small businesses engaged in interstate wholesale trade. Needs to be fixed.

THREAD: Declines in cigarette smoking sharply accelerated over the past 2 years, a public health victory. To the extent e-cigs contributed, PATH data suggests its open tank systems sold in adult vape stores that are making biggest contribution for currently addicted adult smokers

@VaporTechAssoc It would be interesting to see if the concept of "Supremacy Clause" could help fend off state-by-state regulation that flies squarely in the face of what FDA thinks.
