BREAKING: Lifelong Jewish Democrats in Michigan are openly saying they’ll vote Republican for the first time, backing Mike Rogers because Abdul El-Sayed is too radical even for his own party’s voters.

You can have just a post marking the tragic October 7th massacre. You could save your selective ahistorical biased opinions on the whole history of Israel and Palestine (seemingly justifying October 7th) until say tomorrow. Your empathy could exceed your biases.

The far left sees October 7th—the deadliest day for Jews since the Holocaust—not as an occasion to mourn the 1,200 Israelis murdered in an act of terror but as an occasion to romanticize the mass murder of Jews as “resistance.” The inevitable consequence of glorifying political violence is political violence itself. That is the dangerous direction in which American politics seems to be heading.

Jewish artists are being canceled, blacklisted and pushed out of American cultural life. We knew the situation was bad, but we just didn't know how bad. No one had documented the problem in a systematic manner. Until now. The new @ADL State of the Arts report offers a series of shocking findings: - 40 leading museums across the U.S. and not a single one includes Jewish identity among its diversity & inclusion commitments. - Authors are being told to strip Hebrew words from their works and change Jewish character names just to get published. - Jewish and Israeli performers are being harassed off stages, dropped from lineups and never invited back. This is antisemitism, plain and simple. Blocking someone because of their nationality is bigotry, full stop. Canceling someone because of their faith isn't courage — it's cowardice. The arts and culture sector needs to wake up and stop silencing Jewish voices. Patrons of the arts need to step up and demand, not special treatment, but simply equal treatment for Jewish and Israeli artists. Now is the time. Explore the research: state-of-the-arts.org

Only Israelis on a flight:hear weird cockpit noises→smash the door open→drag a random passenger doctor to save the captain after the co pilot stabs him→neutralize the terrorist co pilot→ recruit another passenger who’s a pilot→ & land the nearly crashing plane safely. HEROES

We really missed out on an opportunity to elect a good woman to a position of power.

The primary is over. Abdul El-Sayed’s deranged supporters should leave Congresswoman Haley Stevens alone.

So in a matter of days, Ed Sheeran has lost all his support acts, he's lost his house band, he's been banned from various commercial radio stations, Ireland's press has stated he's never welcome to return to the country, organized protests are being formed to take place in the grounds outside upcoming concert dates, he's been accused of having links to Jeffrey Epstein, and Goebbels-style cartoons have been pushed everywhere of his likeness. And the left think this is progress?

Jewish musicians get uninvited for keeping their politics offstage. Anti-Israel musicians get uninvited for bringing their politics onstage. Guess which ones get called victims of “censorship.”

Everyone posts the same Bill Clinton clip from Camp David in 2000, and I understand why. It is a clean story and it is easy to share. But then the replies start. “You cannot trust Clinton”. “He is American. He is pro-Israel”. “That is not the full picture”. Well then here is Hosni Mubarak, the former president of Egypt, sitting in Cairo and talking about something most people on here have never even heard of. The Mena House conference in 1977. Years before Clinton, and years before the 2000 summit everyone argues about. He says they held a conference there and the Palestinians refused to participate. It wasn’t some complicated diplomatic disagreement. They simply would not even come. He says that every time there was an opportunity they wasted it, and that if they had taken the document that was already on the table and actually negotiated over it, the region would not be in the disaster it is in now. That document, in his account, included the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the West Bank and Gaza. The argument was not even whether Israel would leave. The argument was who would control security during the transitional period. Jordanian and Palestinian forces? Israeli and Palestinian forces? Other Arab forces? He says the Israelis did not mind negotiating those points. Egypt signed a peace agreement and was insulted for it. Then he says the line that should bother people more than any American speech. For fifty years they repeatedly said NO. They said NO After 1948. They said NO After 1967. He says they will keep saying no until there is nothing left to bargain over. This is not an Israeli spokesman and it is not the White House. This is an Egyptian president telling you the walkout did not begin in 2000. It was already a habit long before that.

Every antizionist who believes they’re “on the right side of history” while defending a dude who literally does Nazi salutes in Jewface needs to realize how profoundly they have been brainwashed into being the foot soldiers of a global anti-Jew agenda without realizing it.

How is being antisemitic helping Palestinians? You just found a cause that gives you permission to be the bigot you already wanted to be.

A HUMAN RIGHTS PLATFORM FOR ISRAEL/PALESTINE People like Macklemore, Abdul El-Sayed, Zohran Mamdani, and Ro Khanna may not be bigots or antisemites in their hearts. I don’t know. What I do know is that they and others like them repeatedly deploy shorthand, dog-whistle language that takes an extraordinarily complex conflict, in which rights, wrongs, suffering, and responsibility are widely distributed, and reduces it to facile, inflammatory slogans designed to foment anger, generate social media attention, erase essential historical and moral complexity, and help normalize a socially contagious bigotry that has become increasingly fashionable in some left and right-wing circles and online. If they genuinely want to advance human rights, they should move beyond these cynical and divisive slogans and embrace a more serious, consistent, unbigoted, and universal human-rights platform in their speeches, concert announcements, campaign events, and social media posts: • Respect the rights, dignity, and humanity of all people. • Fully recognize the profound tragedies, traumas, displacement, and suffering experienced by both the Jewish/Israeli and Palestinian peoples. • Acknowledge that most Israelis, Palestinians, and other people across the region would rather live in peace, dignity, prosperity, and security than in perpetual war and insecurity. • Work toward a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in which two equally indigenous peoples can live side by side in peace, dignity, freedom, and security. • Stand unequivocally for a future in which Israelis and Palestinians alike can raise their children without terrorism, occupation, war, displacement, hatred, or fear. • Reject the idea that supporting Palestinian human rights requires denying Jewish history, Jewish indigeneity, Israeli security, or the legitimacy of Israel’s existence, while equally rejecting the idea that supporting Israel requires dismissing Palestinian identity, suffering, dignity, or legitimate aspirations for national self-determination. • Support serious learning about the history and complexities of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict rather than reducing one of the world’s most difficult conflicts to simplistic TikTok slogans. • Acknowledge the near-complete destruction and displacement of ancient Jewish communities across much of the Middle East and North Africa during the 20th century. • Acknowledge that Palestinian and Arab leaders have rejected multiple peace proposals over the decades —including in 1937, 1947, 2000, and 2008—that could plausibly have led to the creation of a Palestinian state. • Recognize that Israel captured Gaza in the 1967 war, withdrew its military forces and settlements from Gaza in 2005, and hoped that disengagement could help create conditions for an eventual Palestinian state. Recognize as well that this strategy failed catastrophically after Hamas seized control of Gaza and transformed it into a base for terror and war against Israel. • Unequivocally and without reservation condemn the September 11 and October 7 terrorist attacks. • Recognize that Hamas carried out the October 7 massacres to derail the possibility of Israeli-Saudi normalization and provoke Israel into a devastating military confrontation in which Hamas sought to exploit Palestinian civilian deaths and suffering for strategic advantage. • Condemn Hamas for investing enormous resources in hundreds of miles of subterranean military tunnels while leaving Gaza’s civilian population dangerously exposed above ground, and for deliberately (per their own internal documents) exploiting Palestinian civilian suffering and deaths as part of its military and political strategy. • Call on Hamas and Hezbollah to immediately and unconditionally surrender, lay down their arms, and end their campaigns of terror. • Call to free the Palestinian people from Hamas, the Lebanese people from Hezbollah, and the Iranian people from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the repressive Iranian regime. • Condemn the Iranian regime for the brutal murder of tens of thousands of its own civilians and demand that Iran immediately cease all support for terrorism and terror proxies. • Recognize Israel’s absolute right to defend itself, including through military force, against terrorist organizations committed to its destruction. • Call on the Israeli government to immediately rein in and prosecute Jewish extremists/terrorists carrying out illegal acts of violence in the West Bank. • Recognize that while Israel has an absolute right to defend itself against terrorist organizations seeking and actively working toward its destruction, it also has a solemn responsibility to wage even a just and necessary war as ethically, carefully, and humanely as possible. • Recognize that calls to “globalize the intifada” and to free Palestine “from the river to the sea,” in the current context and against the backdrop of the explicitly eliminationist ideologies of terrorist organizations including Hamas and Hezbollah, can reasonably be understood as calls for violence against Jews and the destruction of Israel. • Make clear that, in all but a few, narrow set of cases, anti-Zionism is a form of antisemitism because it denies Jews the same right to national self-determination routinely recognized for scores of other peoples around the world. • Condemn antisemitism, Islamophobia, racism, bigotry, dehumanization, and hate speech in all their forms. • Support human rights in Israel and Palestine as part of a broader commitment to the rights, dignity, freedoms, and responsibilities of all people and all communities everywhere. It’s admittedly a long list, but that is precisely the point. Reducing all of this complexity to facile, distorted slogans is not peace activism, human rights advocacy, support for the Palestinian people, or a serious effort to advance a future Palestinian state. Instead, it is participation in a dangerous propaganda war that rewards outrage, flattens history, fuels hatred, and turns human suffering into political currency. This may generate social media attention and applause from ideological allies, but it deepens division, empowers extremists, and makes peace less likely. Our world deserves something far more serious, honest, humane, and constructive. Artists and politicians have the tremendous opportunity to help lead the way toward this better world. I hope more of them will.

Many Jewish Americans who have reliably voted Democratic are considering withholding support from the party — or even crossing the aisle in November — over concerns about rising antisemitism and progressive candidates’ stances on Israel. nbcnews.com/politics/2026-…

No surprise to see a racist slur from Palestinian “journalist” Rula Jebreal who called US @RepJeffries a “monkey” because she disagrees with his politics. Anti-black racism is rampant across Palestinian society and they often refer to black Palestinians as “Abeed” which translates directly to “slave”. There is even a neighborhood in Gaza called “Al Abeed.”

We are not Joy Reid, and neither of you gets a free pass for your racism. @WajahatAli @rulajebreal

@WajahatAli Let me be perfectly clear: I am sick of supposed leftists who do not understand politics outside of their own fucking zip codes trying to dictate how Black Democrats in the South are supposed to navigate ours. Calling Hakeem Jeffries “AIPAC Shakur” is not clever. It is racist as fuck. And attacking Southern Black Democrats because we stand with our Jewish communities ignores the political reality of the South. Black and Jewish coalitions have been organizing together down here for generations. Some of you have not poured a dollar, an organizer, or a meaningful resource into building Democratic power in the states you love lecturing us about. We have spent generations fighting Republican control, voter suppression, gerrymandering, and the systematic destruction of Black political representation. We are still fighting for basic political power that many of you take for granted. Yet somehow, you expect Southern Black voters and leaders to subordinate the needs of our communities to your ideological priorities while you contribute virtually nothing to building the majorities necessary to accomplish any of it. That is not solidarity. You do not get to demand Black political labor while disrespecting Black political leadership. You do not get to traffic in racism against Hakeem Jeffries and antisemitism against our Jewish allies and then call yourselves progressive. And you damn sure do not get to dictate how we build coalitions in the South from the comfort of communities where you already have political power we are still fighting to obtain. Worry about your own fucking communities. We know what it takes to survive politically down here. We know who has stood beside us. And we will build the coalitions necessary to protect our communities whether you approve of them or not. Fuck your racism. Fuck your antisemitism. And fuck the idea that Southern Black politics requires your permission.

Excellent piece by an invaluable voice.

In an op-ed for The New York Times, I argue that saving Gaza & its Palestinian people requires resisting Hamas, weaving in personal themes, addressing issues with the Left & "pro-Palestine" movement & proposing a vision for Gaza's future Transformation. nytimes.com/2026/09/04/opi…
