@mjwdonaldson @PasteMagazine Ha that fermented out super quick! OG of 1.112 to FG of 1.022 in 6 days - that’s crazy. Waiting on 12 x 350 mL bottles to carbonate and condition now - at 11.8% I hope they can handle it! Will be able to evaluate in a a few months down the track

@mjwdonaldson @PasteMagazine Hop burn is the kryptonite of Fresh for hazy, hop-forward beer styles. On the one hand this beer-style has really educated people (especially consumers like me!) that cold and fresh is best, however rushing it to market too soon leaves it tasting like a can of spring onions.

@jimkat2 Cool thanks for the feedback, how dry did the brew come out? Just trying to anticipate this considering there’s no mash step. I guess the Brett would chew up most of the sugar? I want to upscale this to 20ish litres so might try some black rock light liquid malt

@JBmcleods Liked the read on Brand. I think as the average craft beer drinker evolves they pursue consistency and reliability over a pretty looking product. Word of mouth lead me to McLeods and I have not been disappointed yet - keep up the hard graft and craft
