NEW: Indianapolis mother walks free after admitting to smothering her 2-month-old baby to death between two couch cushions while high on meth. Judge Mark Stoner found Dacia Lacey not guilty of neglect resulting in death. Lacey confessed that she wanted her daughter to stop crying and just be quiet so she could get some sleep. The mother, who was high on meth, smothered her daughter in the couch cushions. Judge Stoner said that prosecutors didn’t do enough to prove she intentionally harmed her baby. Lacey was facing 20 to 40 years in prison. She now walks free.
@CollinRugg Didn’t do enough to prove? How about the fact that she’s high on meth with a child enough?
@CollinRugg Mother: I didn’t kill my daughter. I was just high on meth…that’s all. Judge: no problem, not guilty 😲
This really puts things into perspective: "With the 165 Billion we gave to Ukraine, we could have built six border walls to stop illegal immigrants from pouring across our southern border. Could have fixed Flint's water system 215 times over easily. I like this one. Could have given every homeless vet $2 million. Holy shit. Could have given 50 million to every family impacted by the Maui wildfires. And they got $700. They got $700 each. We got to get our priorities straight, buddy."
This Uber driver, a Black woman Lamiyah Jabbar, age 30, picked up a White woman named Diane, who opened up to her about her financial struggles on the way to work at fast food chain Tim Hortons in Buffalo, New York. Lamiyah dropped Diane at her job, and instead of picking up a new passenger, Lamiyah drove to a shopping mall to visit several stores and asked women who looked to be about Diane's size what clothes they liked to wear and bought those clothes for Diane along with a gift card. I emphasized the race of the women in this video because that’s all I see on this platform now from both parties but only when the video makes either race look bad. We can also show the good in both sides.
@CollinRugg This is beyond ridiculous. If this woman was white she would’ve got life in prison. There’s no justification for this leniency. Also, the judge’s last name is “Stoner”? This case is nonsense. The judge should be legally removed from the bench. He’s clearly unfit to serve.
@CollinRugg On March 6, 1981, Marianne Bachmeier shot and killed the man who raped and murdered her 7-year-old daughter In the courtroom, in front of the judge. This is a reenactment from a movie
@CollinRugg The judicial system in America is broken. Murderers are walking out free, while President Trump and Daniel Perry are facing years in jail for caring about the American people.
