Some great cheesecakes from our annual Cheesecake Competition. Probably the most competitive year so far, all to a good standard. The Nutella with a lotus biscoff base came out as the winner. Judges scored on appearance, taste and consistency.

There’s still time to buy tickets for the Bonfire & Firework display, only available at marplebonfire.co.uk. Unfortunately this year access to Brabyns Park from Compstall via the iron bridge will not be possible as the bridge is being closed for remedial works.
5 of our old Explorers and a leader summited Blencathra via Sharp Edge today. A little damp, but great fun!
