On 22/08/25, Manglenkap (9 Yrs) S/O Lalboy (8798618921) of Leisanbung got injured at vitals. Parents brought him to 58 Bn for first aid. He was provided first aid and sent to District Hospital CC Pur in unit vehicle for better treatment. They expressed their sincere gratitude.
On 12/08/25, the troops of 58 Bn, Kangvai conducted a massive bicyclke rally from Kangvai Junction to Torbung Bazar area. This bicycle rally aims to promote a sense of unity, patriotism, and national pride by encouraging every Indian household to proudly hoist the Indian flag.
On 09/08/2025, a lady named Mehlen, 42 years old, from K Kwatlian under PS CC Pur, was brought to the 58 Bn unit hospital with a finger injury sustained while cutting grass in paddy field. Hospital staff imdtly attended to her and provided first aid.
Today i.e. on 09/08/25, "Har Ghar Tiranga" Abhiyan has been conducted by 58 Bn in Gothol, New Dampi, Langza and nearby villages with the active participation of local villagers especially children.
Today i.e. on 08/08/25, the troops of 58 Bn organised a "Har Ghar Tiranga" campain in the villages namely New Dampi, Kangvai, Gothol and nearby areas. villagers and children in these areas participated in this campaign with zeal and passion.
On 08/08/25, 58 Bn, Kangvai, CC Pur organized a CAP at Sangai University Relief camp (IDP), Kaprang. Dr. Benjamin, CMO checked the patients and provided medicines. He distributed 500 Sanitary Pads to women and girls residing there. Biscuits & chocolates were distributed to kids.
On 06/08, the troops of 58 Bn, Kangvai conducted "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign in Langza, Gothol, Kangvai, P Geljang and Maojang villages. Public and children prticipated in a large number to celebrate "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign with a great joy.
"Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign has been launched by the troops of 58 Bn in Kangvai, P Geljang, Phouljang, Gothol and Dampi on 05/08. It is aimed to encourage the villagers and children to celebrate it actively. The public participated in the campaign with a lot of enthusiasm.
On 04/08/25, a girl namely Doborah (3 yrs) D/o Lal Boy R/o K Kotlian under PS- CC Pur was brought to the unit hospital with a head injury. She got injured while playing. Dr. Benjamin, CMO imdtly attended and stitched the wound. The condition of the girl is safe and sound.
On 30/07/25, troops of 58 Bn conducted an int based joint combing ops duty a/w army and BSF in Songphel and nearby forest area under PS CC Pur. The following items were recovered after search: 1. single barrel rifles - 14 2. IEDs -9 3. Pompi -1 4. w/less sets -2 5. other items
On 30/07/25, Troops of 58 Bn conducted an int based joint combing ops a/w Army and Civil Police CC Pur in Tollen village and nearby forest area under PS CC Pur and recovered the following items : 1. Single barrel rifles -3 2. Pompi -1 3. Pompi rounds-3 4. TSM-4 5. other ammn -11
On 87th raising day of CRPF i.e. on 27/07/2025, troops of 58 Bn deployed at Kangvai, Churachandpur, Manipur celebrated this auspecious occasion with zeal and passion. Troops planted 400 saplings of various types at their unit HQ in Kangvai to protect and save the environment.
On the auspecious occasion of the 87th raising day of CRPF i.e. 27/07/2025, troops of 58 Bn deployed at Kangvai, Churachandpur conducted a grand bicycle rally at Kangvai Junction area in a befitting manner. Troops participated in the rally with a lot of enthusiasm and excitement.
It's a great privilege and honour to felicitate the Shourya Chakra awardee i.e. INSP/GD. Jaffery of 203 CoBRA at him home in CC Pur on 16/07/25 by Sh Ghanshyam Behwal, DIG Ops Range CC Pur a/w Sh M Mohan, Comdt 58 Bn in the presence of local villagers.
For better tomorrow and to protect the environment, a plantation drive was conducted by 58 Bn, Kangvai on 15/07/25. During this drive, Officers and men planted 600 saplings.
