Do you ever think “if I could just make more money… everything would be fixed?” Did you know 47% of Americans who make 150k - 200k a year are still living paycheck to paycheck? So much of your personal financial health comes down to your habits and behavior toward your money.
Your quality of life increases exponentially when you let go of trying to please others.
Before Buying, Ask: 1. If no one ever sees this purchase, do I still want it? 2. If I don't post about it, do I still want it? 3. If it gets ruined, how will that affect me? 4. Do I believe I will be fulfilled after purchasing? 5. Do I believe this is going to make me happy?
This is how you pay off debt & build wealth 👏🏼 1. Save $1,000 for emergencies 2. Pay off all debt except your mortgage 3. Save 3–6 months of expenses 4. Invest 15% of your income for retirement. 5. Save for your kids’ college 6. Pay off your home early 7. Build wealth & be kind
Renting isn’t falling behind, it can be the smartest financial move. If it helps you pay off debt, save, and buy when you’re truly ready, you’re already winning. Don’t rush homeownership just because everyone else is.
What you believe about money, yourself and the world shapes how your life will unfold. Every single day you have the power to make decisions that will move you forward financially or set you back. It’s up to you.
Until we accept the reality that the freedom money brings also comes with the responsibility to manage it well, we’ll never get to pursue the life we truly want. Instead, we’ll always be playing catch-up with our random desires and whims.

Your car should get you where you need to go, not define your worth. I’d rather drive a paid-off car and have financial peace than chase an image with a monthly payment. Looking wealthy and building wealth are rarely the same thing.
Culture says: "Buy now, Pay later. Do what makes you happy in the moment, and don't worry about the future." We are told instant gratification is a good thing because it allows you to live the life you want this second, even if you don't have the money to support it.
The root of most people's fears about budgeting comes down to this question: "How can I do everything I want to do without making any sacrifices?" Until you have a budget, you won't know how much you can spend - and you won't know when to tell yourself no.

Don't be apathetic with your finances. Be proactive. You can make your money work for you when you start paying attention and telling it where to go. Whether you are paying off debt or saving for retirement, YOU are the one who can tell it where to go and take control back!

There are things you can do to improve your life. You're not doomed to repeat your parent's mistakes. You can learn new information and new behaviors and choose new habits.
True financial peace happens when money is your tool, not your master. And that can't happen if your soul is dependent on yourself or money. Giving is the mechanism that helps you learn where your true security comes from.
One of the best questions to ask yourself before purchasing: if no one sees this purchase, will I still want it?
