Aside from the Kinlaw contract (still doesn't make sense to me), Joe Douglas played free agency pretty perfectly. There's risk to guys like Tyron Smith (injuries), but every one of these players was signed at his price. He didn't overpay any of them. Would expect that to continue as he monitors the WR market (Mike Williams, OBJ, etc) #Jets
@Connor_J_Hughes Kinlaw is not Joe Douglas. That’s all Saleh.
@Connor_J_Hughes When kinlaw strips Goff in the Super Bowl to clinch the championship this tweet gonna bang
@Connor_J_Hughes Ask Coach Saleh on Kinlaw - that would be his choice since he coached him rookie year at 49ers - he had to be positive for us to sign him at whatever price
@Connor_J_Hughes now bring bakthiari to support smith on LT and bring a vet WR in the room. Draft Receiver/TE at 10 👍🏾
@Connor_J_Hughes Joe Douglas has the absolute perfect process as a GM, that’s the most important part imo. Some of his talent identification has been lacking but also the most random as well. Good process is more important than good results as a GM. That’s why Roseman is the best GM
@Connor_J_Hughes Joe Douglas to JetsTwitter... youtube.com/watch?v=9Qj0Rr…
@Connor_J_Hughes Ok. For the jets fans. If we sign Mike Williams. Would you want obj or clowney as the other signing if we can?
@Connor_J_Hughes Won’t get too worried about a one year deal ya most in the league thought it was high….2 years $15m gtd I wouldn’t like but we can live with probably a $2m+ overpay….there is a chance this looks like a big value if he’s healthy too
@Connor_J_Hughes Maybe, just maybe, Douglas is a better GM than Jets Twitter and the beat reporters have said. Injuries aside, last three years as a package look pretty good.
