@TrueBolsheviks and if your main argument is that a "good environment" eliminates greed then I would like to put this out there. Capitalism has been the biggest wealth generator and poverty eliminator in human history. Survival is literally no longer a daily struggle

@TrueBolsheviks Selfishness really is a fundamental aspect of human nature, it is innate. In a free market the only way people can satisfy self interest is by providing value to others. Success has providing a service and improving someone else's life as a prerequisite

One of the biggest flaws of Communism is the idea that a centralized government can dictate human ambition better than the individual #FreeMarkets

@red0neharvest @YoungBobRB instead of link dumping please, stand on your own words, read your material, dissect it, and give to me specific lines instead of a moral megaphone without standing on your own words

@red0neharvest @YoungBobRB Entrepreneurs, young startup businesses, and market incentives still remain the most reliable way to feed and serve billions

@red0neharvest @YoungBobRB market economies have shown historically that wealth can be created through productivity. You dabble in absolute rhetorical claims, demanding an immediate abolition of poverty without a viable mechanism to generate resources is nothing more than a moral stance

@red0neharvest @YoungBobRB What does require engineering and innovation is wealth building to increase our production capacity to support 8 billion (and i guess counting) people. The core flaw in your argument is the assumption that wealth is this fixed pie

@red0neharvest @YoungBobRB Hi! Sorry I was on a trip, anyways, I understand that obviously any ounce of poverty is a tragedy, but its too far of a claim to say capitalism "engineered" it. Poverty is literally the default state, it doesnt need to be engineered and that's what we are going up against

@red0neharvest @YoungBobRB history has literally proven how abolition requires PRODUCTION, NOT CONFISCATION. we need to feed 8 billion people and this is the way, with millions of entrepreneurs working to solve problems.

@red0neharvest @YoungBobRB no obviously the goal here is to END POVERTY, communism has tried again and again to address it, what has it done? Famine, purges, totalitarianism. meanwhile markets have done substantially more to reduce poverty. The remaining 15% isnt proof capitalism failed

@red0neharvest @YoungBobRB i can admit that capitalism is NOT a utopia, but its the only system in which wealth gets created instead of confiscated. Property rights, rule of law, encourage people to innovate, this has been proven historically, and thats much better in my opinion than revolutionary rhetoric

@Skeletonkey5555 @JohnMcTweet @medusa56944 your definition describes a "weak" form of atheism. Many do assert that God doesnt exist. and "insufficient evidence" isnt really skepticism as you claim, its simply a judgement after reviewing claims. Dont conflate withholding beliefs with rejecting it

@red0neharvest @YoungBobRB if we're gonna talk about "results" then fact of the matter is communism ideas becoming policy went horribly in many occasions. Top of my head examples would be the purges of the Soviet Union, the Killing Fields in Cambodia, Holodomor famine of Ukraine and that's just a few.
