Accurate description of the actor is the minimum requirement of truth-seeking. Truth, Virtue, and the American Way. 🇺🇸

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury... nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself. — Fifth Amendment Equal application of the law is the practical meaning of limited government. When high officials invoke the privilege repeatedly after sworn testimony, the public is entitled to ask whether the same standard applies to every citizen. Truth, Virtue, and the American Way. 🇺🇸

The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the State governments are numerous and indefinite. — James Madison, Federalist No. 45 Sanctuary policies that shield those who commit violent crimes against children invert the first duty of government: the protection of persons. Federalism does not authorize states to nullify the nation’s borders or the equal protection of its citizens. Truth, Virtue, and the American Way. 🇺🇸

Ambition must be made to counteract ambition. — James Madison, Federalist No. 51 Documented fraud in public office is the predictable result when checks are weak. Denying the evidence does not make the problem disappear. Accurate rolls and citizen-only ballots are the minimal safeguards Madison’s auxiliary precautions require. Truth, Virtue, and the American Way. 🇺🇸

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people. — Tenth Amendment Social Security and Medicare were built on the premise that those who contribute should be the primary beneficiaries.
