Sitting the MSRA for 2027 entry?
Professional Dilemmas is where scores bunch together, and it is the paper most people revise least.
We built a free MSRA taster: original clinical and PD questions in the real formats, written by UK GPs. Free to try.
Link below.
Ethics, law and safeguarding come up in the MRCGP AKT and the MSRA, and they are easy marks if you know the frameworks: capacity, consent, confidentiality, Gillick and Fraser.
Our guide to all of it is free to read.

Every Core Revision question is original.
No recalled questions, no past papers, no leaked material. Each one is written by a UK GP and checked against current UK guidance.
Here is exactly how we write them.

Choose the THREE most appropriate actions and reply. Our three go up tonight.

80% clinical medicine
10% evidence-based practice and statistics
10% organisation and administration
Most revision time goes on the 80%. Many of the marks people drop are in the 20%.

NHS England's ST1 2026 Round 1 data: 24% of candidates reached Band 4 on Clinical Problem Solving.
On Professional Dilemmas? 4%.
PD is where the cohort bunches together, so a few extra marks move you a long way. It deserves more than the last weekend of your revision.
@bmj_latest The numbers behind "oversubscribed": GP ST1 applications went from 10,514 in 2023 to 15,036 in 2024 and 20,995 in 2025. Whatever replaces or reforms the MSRA has to sort roughly twice the field it was built for.
@bmj_latest The score data point the same way. In NHS England's ST1 2026 Round 1 figures, 24% of candidates reached Band 4 on Clinical Problem Solving but only 4% did on Professional Dilemmas. When a paper bunches people that tightly, a handful of marks decides a ranking.
