Polls on X are limited in value as they can slant based on the bias of the poster. Courtney Theriault is on the left side of things & he posted a poll that garnered over 17,000 votes & 67% of respondents support Premier Smith's trans policies. I posted one and 18,000 voted with nearly 95% supporting Smith's policies. If we split the difference, we still see a massive majority of people support Premier Smith's initiatives. The vocal fringe is just that. Fringe. Hold the course Premier Smith. Albertans appreciate it.

@CoryBMorgan @ryangerritsen Makes one wonder why Poilievre and CPC wouldn't latch onto such an easy political win. Same thing happened last summer with the 1 million person march. Siding with sane parents is a guaranteeed win but they won't do it. @PierrePoilievre @CPC_HQ
@CoryBMorgan Mostly they’re just for fun. No one should try to derive meaning. Unless maybe to understand followers or another group.
@CoryBMorgan This supports the theory that a small minority of people support these fringe policies
@CoryBMorgan Agreed. But to be fair, I don’t treat this platform as much more than entertainment. I find the odd bit of news that always requires a double or triple check, and the rest of my time on X is spent enjoying a bit of fun solidarity with people of common interest.
@CoryBMorgan Split the difference and it's pretty close to the Angus Reid numbers.
@CoryBMorgan All online polls are like this, not just X's.
@CoryBMorgan Excellent point. Even so called unbiased polling I wonder... how do they account for the opinions of people who refuse to participate in the poll. Assuming they are inline with those that do is clearly indefensible.... so you must correct for it but how?
