Lewis Hamilton: Max has shown why he’s a force to be reckoned with, it’s so great racing against one of the greats. Anthony Davidson: I would choose Max Verstappen... he can jump in most things and be quick. Niki Lauda: I’ve never seen anyone do that before, he’s the talent of the century Alex Albon : For me Max is the greatest Damon Hill: Max has that Schumacher quality. The focus, the relentlessness, the ability to extract everything from the car every single lap. He does not switch off. Sebastian Vettel: Max is doing something that F1 has never seen, he’s set a new benchmark Christian Horner: Max is the greatest talent I’ve seen in a race car Ralph Schumacher: Purely in terms of skill, they are the two best drivers I've seen in Formula 1, Michael and Max Martin Brundle: Max is the benchmark Jenson Button: I think Max Verstappen is the greatest F1 driver of all time Jimmy Broadbent : Max is the greatest driver ever Fernando Alonso: Only Max, only he can do it. Lando Norris: I’m fighting against Max, probably the best there’s ever been Antony Hamilton: incredible talent and an absolute gentleman Nico Rosberg: Max is the best driver I raced against Gerhard Berger: I was teammates with senna and Max is the only one like him. Maybe better Nico Hulkenberg: Max is the GOAT Stefan Johansson: The most complete F1 driver ever Sebastian Buemi: He’s the GOAT Gunther Steiner: Max has reached GOAT status Helmet Marko: I’ve not seen anyone with the talent Verstappen possess. Jaime Alguersuari: Best F1 driver ever Ollie Bearman: He’s the best driver we’ve ever had Sergio Perez: I used to look at his telemetry data and think how the hell are you doing that Pete Windsor: He drives like very few. Like Jim Clark Pedro Del La Rosa: Easily one of the greatest Toto Wolff: he’s a special special driver we may not see again. The list goes on and on and on and on. These quotes are all out there just google them and there’s so many more . It amazes me how tons of professionals around F1, current and ex F1 drivers, ex and current F1 champions, commentators and drivers from categories all around the world virtually all have the same opinion that Max Verstappen is the greatest driver and talent F1 has seen which I think can only be rivaled alongside Senna and Schumacher in debates are they all produced magic in dominant cars but even more magic in underperforming cars, yet we have accounts on @x who’ve never raced in their life and think they know better when they probably couldn’t explain track macro without google thinking Verstappen is “average”

@Number10Legacy @F1GuyDan my exact reaction:

Coming from someone who works nights here in the States and tries to catch every F1 race, hearing the commentators say “If you’re new here, welcome to PROPER racing!” is remarkably satisfying. We’re an hour into the action, and it has already proven far more impressive than F1.

@Motorsport Max and Fernando still drive like they’ve got nothing to lose. Lewis has gotten slightly more conservative with his driving but he’s still lethal, and while Kimi would hold his own, he’d likely panic with how aggressive everyone else is driving.

@F1GuyDan The old Goodyear hats are so damn cool!

FIA president Ben Sulayem confirms F1 will return to V8 engines in 2030. The new engines will be around 80kg lighter, with at least 50% lower R&D and engine costs. Turn up the volume and enjoy the sound of 24 V8-powered F1 cars from the 2011 European GP. #F1

@Formuladdict Audi and Ford🔥

Es un deber moral odiar a Mercedes por arruinar la F1 día a día. El único que se le plantaba a Toto Wolff era Horner y ahora ni eso nos queda. Un asco como maneja la categoría a su antojo.

🚨 FIA will ban a configuration used by Red Bull and copied by Audi for 2027 Red Bull had floor support to have a much more aggressive geometry for the lower part of sidepods. FIA will limit that support to 5 mm requiring a car redesign in that part. [@Auto_Racer_it]

The biggest names in the biggest moments! It was a season to remember, and we can't wait to do it again in 2027!

I’m going to put the tin foil hat on for two mins… Isn’t it funny, how after 2 race wins in a row for Red Bull… this is announced. Mercedes, the team that helped design the new engines receive ADUO McLaren got the start procedure changed, under the guise of ‘safety’…

@sildeaire We can get rid of the Vegas GP any time now…

There are only three sports: bullfighting, mountain climbing, and auto-racing. Everything else is just a game. There’s no substitute for cubic inches. #NASCAR #F1 #IndyCar #WEC #FormulaDrift

The winner ain’t the one with the fastest car…he’s the one who refuses to lose. You win some, you lose some, you wreck some. If everything seems under control, you’re just not going fast enough. If you no longer go for a gap that exists, you are no longer a racing driver.

If you don’t cheat, you look like an idiot; if you cheat and don’t get caught, you look like a hero; if you cheat and get caught, you look like a dope. If you ain’t first, you’re last. Second place is just the first loser.

When did motorsports get away from this? We’ve all heard these sayings; let’s get back to this and make racing racing again. Rubbing is racing. Trading paint. That’s just racing. If you ain’t cheatin’, you ain’t tryin’. You don’t race cars, you race the rulebook.

@evrythngformu1a @Nachez98 If Qatar/Abu Dhabi get cancelled, Imola is the easy logistical pick after Vegas. But for actual great racing on tracks *not* already used this year would be Portimão – Best mix of racing + weather + feasibility and Istanbul Park – Exciting layout, solid alternative
