BURNS NIGHT! It's not too late to get yourself some award-winning Haggis from the shop, available in standard and large sizes.
Here are our opening hours for the Christmas period. The PO Counter will be open whenever the Shop is open!
In case you haven't seen this notice in the shop, you can call us on 07789 828423 to place you orders for freshly baked loaves and pastries over the Christmas period.
THANK YOU to everyone who left a donation over the past few weeks. Helen Scott & Lisa Harris have done an incredible job in collating these with donations from businesses & local people, resulting in 75 Hampers being provided to eldery and vulnerable people in the community.
Many of the Christmas products are now on the shelves, including last years best-selling Mince Pies! And don't forget, Xmas pre-orders need to be with us by the end of this Friday, more details here: creatonvillageshop.co.uk/christmas-2022
Reminder - Xmas Orders need to be placed with us by the end of Friday 2nd December. Don't forget there's free delivery (within 5miles), more details and the order form can be found here: creatonvillageshop.co.uk/christmas-2022
Teenagers, from 13 upwards, have given us a few hours per week of their time, and in return they get great experience, increased self-confidence and social skills. It also counts towards the DofE Award! Message us if you know someone who could give us a couple of hours per week.
We've been getting a few questions about last posting dates for Christmas, so here's all the info you should need all in one picture!
Looking for a simple, flexible and easy-to-post Christmas present? One4All gift cards can be redeemed at a huge range of stores (on-line & in-store), and can be loaded with whatever value you choose. They're also available in a range of designs, from our Post Office counter now!
Monday morning discounts! We've got some bread and meat that has to go today, so come and grab yourself a bargain!
This years wine tasting night is on Thursday 10th November, always a great social event.
Get your carving tools ready, the pumpkins are here!
Reductions! We were a bit over-zealous with our ordering at the weekend so have some products that are on-sale today. Get them while you can!
** Day of National Morning - opening hours ** To allow our staff to take part in the National Day of Mourning, we will only be open from 7.30 to 10.00 on Monday 19th Sept. Normal hours will resume on Tuesday.
** Bank Holiday Weekend Opening Hours ** The Shop and Post Office will be open as normal on Saturday and Sunday, but with reduced hours on Monday. All three days will open at 8 am and close at 12 noon.
Just confirming, our Post Office counter will be OPEN AS NORMAL this weekend, despite the industrial action being taken by some Royal Mail staff.
We've talked before about our intention to support local producers, and as part of this we've introduced a 'showcase' display feature in the Shop. We'll be featuring products from a selected local producer, and first up is Creaton's own Creaton Grange Ales!
We're now displaying our freshly-baked bread and pastries individually wrapped in clear packaging. This means you can easily see what you're choosing, while keeping the items fresh and hygenic!
Call for carrier bags! We like to recycle by offering donated carrier bags to customers to help with their shopping, but we're running a little low. If you've got some that you'd like to donate, please bring them in to the shop. Many thanks!
