Most people don’t know that CrossFit was birthed from personal training. When executed well, a CrossFit class should feel like a small group personal training session where you get individualized attention and precise guidance. It’s the cheapest personal training you’ll find.
Day 8 of CrossFit. Just realized I am lacking strength in my reverse lunges. Need to work on that. Cardio is improving everyday. @CrossfitNovato The coaching staff have been on point. Great team of coaches.
One of the easiest things you can do to “boost” your metabolism is eat enough protein. Most people we work with at CFN get around 20-40g a day unconsciously. For weightloss with moderate activity .9gs per lb of bodyweight is a minimum. At 150lbs that’s 135gs.
Despite what you’ve been told, you don’t have to deal with it, you don’t have to work around it, and it has nothing to do with getting older.

What a great workout this morning, an hours worth of deadlifts, power cleans and push jerks! Loved it! Everyone go out and win the day!
Day 1 of my fitness journey, it was all about squats. Had a great time, legs are feeling it. @CrossfitNovato 315 full squat, happy to call that my 1 rep max, have not worked out in over a year seriously ready and excited!
