@jpwillbegreat Their plan is to make you run mad before you get an mbbs degree.after which you'll realise later that all that wasn't necessary. especially the ones that keep students for 8 years or more

Aspiring to be a Future Doctor in Nigeria might be a mistake sha, except you want to do it for humanity or have a very strong passion for caring for people and making a lot of selfless sacrifices, if you’re from a Rich background too but if you don’t have any of this, please choose maybe computer science or something AI related. From your interview you said you use AI to summarize note which tells you something that the trend has shifted to a more advanced technology age. Also from your jamb score, biology was the lowest (although still A, kudos to you) which is the most related course to “future Doctor” Medicine is not all rosy as it seems from outside. Trend has shifted

Being named Nigerian of the Week by the @NOA_Nigeria is something I will never forget. A few weeks ago, I was just a girl studying hard and trusting God. Today, Nigeria is celebrating me. To every young Nigerian reading this, your hard work will speak for you. #Nigerianoftheweek

This will only sound somewhat like a lie until you test the waters yourself!!

Young academically gifted students in highschool, don't consider to be a doctor. Go into tech and other related high ranking courses. Medicine is a field of burnouts, toxicity and a waste of your youth with minimal returns.

Chasing mere degree without sharpening real world skills is tantamount to continual languishing in poverty

The surest bet to coming out of trenches as a young man without connections and rich associates in the shortest possible time has to be with tech skills except I'm proven wrong.

@SholaDuroj65691 Lol clownery......medicine isn't for kids. The stress and training is second to none. It's a more tedious field than engineering

@NuelPhysicist @Docfrosh This medicine thing is not worth it in 2026.times have changed. It's just glorified overhyped suffering and waste of long productive years.
