the FBI calls crypto money so they can arrest you for money laundering the IRS calls it property so they can tax you on capital gains the SEC calls it a security so they can sue every exchange the CFTC calls it a commodity so you can’t use it as a currency
@CryptoTea_ In essence, the USA is making bank with crypto 🙏
@CryptoTea_ First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win.
@CryptoTea_ It’s getting out of hand. They really don’t want people to be free.
A fortified Congress would stop this nonsense and support Bitcoin. *** Constituents need to demand that Congress takes full advantage of the US Constitution's clauses on how to legislate so corruption is game-theory ruled out and intelligent legislation is incentivized by sharing a fraction of budget surpluses. The clauses involved have much unused power! *** We need a Congress that works for the people not for it's overlords. It's not the fault of lobbyists, its the fault of Primary Voters not knowing their Constitution's clauses on legislating. Use the better option. What’s flexible about legislation in the US Constitution? There are minimal constraints about legislative voting in the US Constitution: Article 1, Section 5, Paragraphs 2 and 3. Quote: "Each House may determine the Rules of its Proceedings, punish its Members for disorderly Behaviour, and, with the Concurrence of two thirds, expel a Member. Each House shall keep a Journal of its Proceedings, and from time to time publish the same, excepting such Parts as may in their Judgment require Secrecy; and the Yeas and Nays of the Members of either House on any question shall, at the Desire of one fifth of those Present, be entered on the Journal."" Imagine the MAGA and RFK Jr supporters combine into a single force focused on getting primary Congressional candidates (whether politically focused on MAGA concerns or distinctly focused on RFK Jr campaign concerns) to take a 5 point pledge, during the primary season (before anyone votes them in then) that is independent of political partisan interests but in agreement on how they’ll vote, if seated, for the legislative process to happen. The 5 point pledge is: 1. Divest their Stock Investments to Market-neutral alternatives. 2. Pledge to release their annual Federal Tax filings, including of the companies they own. 3. Vote for legislative rules to guarantee 100% anonymity of their votes, with 3 exceptions (noted in text). This means no legislator can prove to anyone how they voted, so it makes it virtually impossible to be paid for your vote. The exceptions are not votes that involve greed issues. Article 1, Section 5, Paragraphs 2 and 3 of the US Constitution only requires an accurate tally of Yes’s or No’s, not the names of who voted Yes or no. It only takes a 50.1% vote of either chamber of Congress to adopt this voting method. No new law is needed, no agreement by the other Legislative chamber, nor by the President. 4. If point 3 is adopted, will vote to one-time only double legislators’ annual salary so legislators can have two places to live (their home base, as well as Washington DC area). Ordinary citizens could then run for office. 5. If point 3 is adopted, legislators will split one-ten-thousandth of the Budget surplus (instead of succumbing to lobbyist bribes, the monetary temptation is to enrich the nation by lowering its national debt) as long as the National Debt is not reduced more than 3 % of the outstanding National Debt (so as to avoid too sudden radical change). (Points 4 and 5 do require separate laws being passed, but since it benefits the voters demanding it plus the self-interests of the legislators, that should Unfortunately, our currently chosen way to legislate most easily lets dark forces, including powerful bureaucracies, rule the Congress through intimidation, threats, blackmail, job promises, bribes plus we've enabled Congressional leaders to be able to put their interests above the nation's cultural and survival interests be easy to accomplish.) Congress has unnecessarily chosen the setup where it's like having good talking cowboys/cowgirls given water pistols to take on hostile forces that have real weapons. It's insane what's happening now. I feel like a voice in the wilderness. I am so grateful our founding fathers put options in our Constitution. CONGRESS DOESN'T HAVE TO BE STRUCTURED SO IT IS EASILY CORRUPTED! Much more is conveyed in a short term future novel I wrote, published in an X article, which I hope as many of your readers, including yourself, read (follow me if not already) and provide feedback to improve and get more traction.
@CryptoTea_ This situation reminds me why I got into crypto in the first place.
