HOW TO MAKE WEB3 YOUR PRIMARY JOB IN 2026 👀
Day 19 of "How to" series
stop treating web3 like something you do after college or after your 9-5.
if you actually want to make it your primary career, you need to build yourself like someone a web3 company can hire.
I will guide you with complete roadmap
PICK ONE MONEY-MAKING SKILL
(toughest one get's more paid)
don’t start with “i want a web3 job.”
choose what you can actually get paid for:
research, content, design, community, marketing, bd, growth, product, operations, development, data, security
you don’t need to be a developer to build a serious career in web3.
BECOME VERY GOOD AT ONE SKILL
being “interested in crypto” is not a skill.
learn the tools, language and workflow of your role.
if you choose research, learn onchain data, tokenomics, dashboards and protocol research.
if you choose content, learn distribution, research, writing and crypto-native storytelling.
if you choose community, learn moderation, growth, retention and community analytics.
go narrow first.
BUILD PROOF BEFORE ASKING FOR A JOB
this is where most people mess up.
don’t just put “web3 enthusiast” on your CV.
show what you can do.
write research reports.
make dashboards.
design protocol breakdowns.
run community campaigns.
analyse wallets.
write launch content.
contribute to open-source.
help a small protocol.
your portfolio should answer one question:
“what can this person actually do for us?”
TURN X INTO YOUR PUBLIC CV
(i already told you this !)
in web3, your public work can become your reputation.
post what you are learning.
share useful research.
break down projects.
document experiments.
talk to builders.
connect with people actually working in the ecosystem.
you don’t need 100k followers.
you need people to know what you are good at.
STOP MASS APPLYING
100 random applications are not a career strategy.
make a list of 30 projects you genuinely understand.
follow their founders, builders, researchers and hiring people.
use their products.
find something they could improve.
then reach out with proof.
GET YOUR FIRST PAID WORK HOWEVER YOU CAN
your first web3 income doesn’t have to be a full-time salary.
bounties.
freelance work.
research.
content.
community work.
grants.
contributor roles.
part-time contracts.
the goal is to turn skill → proof → reputation → income → full-time opportunity.
BUILD A REPUTATION BEFORE YOU NEED THE JOB
if you consistently publish useful work for 6-12 months, people start associating your name with a specific skill.
try to become the person who does X in web3.
that is when web3 can become your primary career.
SAVE THIS ASAP !

Websites that can pay you in dollars
i tried these one by one.
some are easy to start. some need qualification. some pay well. some are honestly not worth your time.
so here goes the list:
1. Clickworker
small tasks, surveys and micro-jobs. payout options depend on your country.
2. TELUS AI
search evaluation, AI training and other data projects. rates can be solid, but your country matters a lot.
3. Appen / CrowdGen
data labelling, search evaluation and AI projects. lots of workers, so competition can be high.
4. Toloka
simple data collection and microtasks. one of the easier platforms to test if this type of work suits you.
5. Remotasks
AI data labelling and training tasks. available across many countries, but project availability changes.
6. Outlier AI
you train and evaluate AI models. much better potential than basic survey platforms, but getting accepted is the hard part.
7. Mindrift
expert-level AI work across different fields. some projects can pay very well if you actually have the required expertise.
8. Prolific
academic studies and paid surveys. not huge money, but generally straightforward for small side income.
9. DataAnnotation
one of the higher-paying options, but availability is heavily dependent on your country and profile.
10. Mercor
some roles can reach very high hourly rates. still largely dependent on location, skills and the role you qualify for.
11. Alignerr
another AI training platform worth checking. there have been complaints around unpaid work, so test it with a small task first.
Also keep in mind someone in the US might get $20/hour for a task.
you might only get $5.
same platform. same type of work. different market.
so don’t see someone posting a $30/hour screenshot and immediately calculate your monthly income.
none of these platforms guarantee you a salary.
you work when projects are available.
sometimes there is plenty of work.
sometimes there is nothing.
that’s why i see these as side income, not a replacement for your job.
don’t bookmark this !
HOW TO FIND WALLETS BEFORE THEY BECOME CT FOMO
Day 18 of “How to” series
(real working method)
everyone is watching the same wallets manually.
by the time the PnL screenshot reaches CT, you’re usually late.
FOMO API lets you automate the boring wallet research.
free tier
signup with Gmail
$0
250,000 credits/month
~1,000 calls
every endpoint unlocked
get your API key
the setup takes under 10 mins:
resolve a handle → Solana + EVM wallets
pull 24h / 7d / 30d PnL
check the wallet before following its trades
keep /ws/alerts open for realtime activity
connect the API to Hermes and let the agent do the research
the real trick is not finding one wallet that hit a 20x.
find wallets that are consistently early.
check their entries, PnL, trade frequency and whether they actually repeat the performance.
that is, the free realtime stream is only realtime for 7 days. after that it gets delayed.
run out of credits → 402.
and bro, don’t confuse wallet data with a signal.
the API gives you information.
your position size is still your responsibility.
bookmark this. next time you see a wallet cooking, you’ll know how to investigate it !

Let's build together
. @arc IS THE NEW ALPHA 😭
and honestly, this is the time i like an ecosystem the most.
once everyone starts posting the same 5 projects, the easy discovery phase is already gone.
so instead of asking “which Arc token should i buy?”
i would ask:
WHO IS BUILDING WHAT BEFORE CT STARTS FARMING IT?
here’s where i’d start looking.
launchpads nobody is farming yet
• @NebulaPad = showing up on ArcLens trending, still pre-mainnet
• @akadotfun = DN404, NFT + token as the same asset. WL does not mean guaranteed mint
• @Fliptfun = bonding curve + fee sharing for holders
• @arcfunxyz = curve-based launches, with ~25k USDC graduation talk
• @Arguspad = launchpad + AMM
• @onmidotfun = multichain curve launchpad expanding to Arc
• @PUMP_archi = direct Uniswap v4 launches
• @AstraPump = one-click token creation + trading, getting attention around testnet activity
• @synthra_finance = AMM + aggregator + launchpad with buyback discussions
don’t go and buy all of these.
that’s not the point.
the point is to find the teams that are building the distribution layer before everyone arrives.
check the founders.
check their previous work.
check who is actually shipping.
then watch what starts getting users.
dex / swaps beyond the usual names
• @lunya_io = v3 AMM + curve launches + CCTP USDC bridge
• @TowerExchange = stablecoin aggregator
• @lunexfinance = stableswap for USDC / EURC / USDT
• @Xylonet_ = stablecoin-first exchange
• @swaparc_app = stablecoin swaps + private payments angle
• @peachlfg = aggregator + launch surface for newer Arc tokens
my rule here is simple:
use the product before you trust the narrative.
don’t throw big money into some new dapp because the timeline says “early.”
don’t chase crazy APYs either.
volume, users, liquidity and integrations matter much more.
ai / agents
this is another category i would keep a close eye on.
• @gigawork_arc = hire agents, pay after completion, escrow + identity
• @ProofStream_ = USDC payroll streams locked until work is completed
• @uzenlabs = onchain identity for agents
• @memoAI_ARC = natural-language payments assistant
• @nexorafi = agent wallets, spend limits, x402 + escrow
• @arclens_app = ecosystem discovery + AI layer for builders
you don’t always need to buy something to make money from an early ecosystem.
• @arcblockborn = 2,550 supply, 4 rarity tiers, mainnet-timed launch
• @TurtzWTF = browser game / P2E
• @PlayMossling = play-to-earn direction on Arc
i wouldn’t blindly mint these either.
look at the team.
look at the product.
look at the community.
look at whether anyone outside their own followers actually cares.
early doesn’t automatically mean valuable.
payments / privacy
this is probably the category i’d research the most if the Arc stablecoin narrative keeps growing.
• @Hinkal_protocol = ZK wallet + confidential settlement
• @BlockradarHQ = WaaS for fintechs, gasless + AML
• @koshmoney = stablecoin neobank / cross-border
• @cyclesmoney = payments infrastructure
• @ArrelTechnology = payments infrastructure
because if Arc becomes a serious payments ecosystem, the boring infrastructure underneath it could end up being more important than the flashy launchpads.
and here’s the part i think people miss.
YOU CAN MAKE MONEY FROM ARC WITHOUT BUYING AN ARC TOKEN.
i’ve added these names because i don’t want another list where everyone already knows the first 10 projects.
DYOR.
and if Arc Foundation eventually drops a token…
Bro, we were already looking 😭
HOW TO FIND WHAT WEB3 BUILDERS ARE BUILDING BEFORE LAUNCH (worth reading) 😳
most people find a project when the website is already live, the community is active and ct is talking about it.
at that point, you’re usually late.
if you want to find projects early, stop searching for “upcoming projects”.
find the people building them.
here’s how i’d actually do it:
START WITH GITHUB
search for repos around the narratives you’re interested in.
don’t just look at the repo name.
check when it was created, recent commits, contributors, issues and how often the code is changing.
a repo with 2 commits from 8 months ago means nothing.
a small repo getting regular commits from multiple people is much more interesting.
FIND THE BUILDERS BEHIND IT
once you find an interesting repo, check the contributors.
look at their github profiles.
then find their x accounts.
now check what they’re talking about, who they interact with and what other builders they follow.
one good developer can lead you to an entire network of people building in the same space.
WATCH THE CONVERSATION BEFORE THE ANNOUNCEMENT
this is where it gets interesting.
a builder might start talking about a problem months before launching anything.
first it’s a random technical post.
then a discussion.
then a prototype.
then someone asks for testers.
then a github repo appears.
then suddenly there’s a “stealth” project.
don’t wait for the final announcement.
watch the progression.
LOOK AT WHO IS WORKING WITH WHO
if you find one serious builder, check their replies and interactions.
who keeps showing up?
which developers are collaborating?
which researchers are discussing the same problem?
which accounts suddenly start interacting with each other?
you’re basically mapping the people around a project before the project becomes obvious.
CHECK TESTNETS AND ACTIVITY INSIDE IT
sometimes the first signal isn’t on x at all.
look for new contracts, testnet deployments, documentation, wallets interacting with new protocols and early transactions.
use explorers, dune, defillama and other onchain tools to verify what you’re seeing.
a random “big things coming” tweet is easy to fake.
actual activity is harder to fake.
WATCH FOR PEOPLE HIRING
this is one of the easiest signals to miss.
if a team suddenly needs smart contract engineers, protocol researchers, frontend developers, devrel or growth people, something is usually happening behind the scenes.
read the job description carefully.
you can often figure out what they’re building from the skills they’re looking for.
FOLLOW THE INFRASTRUCTURE
you don’t always discover a project from the project itself.
sometimes you discover it through the companies building around it.
an oracle integration.
a wallet integration.
a bridge.
an analytics dashboard.
an audit.
a grant.
a developer tool.
these can reveal what’s coming before the main project starts marketing itself.
BUILD YOUR OWN WATCHLIST
don’t just bookmark random posts.
make a simple list of projects you’re watching.
track:
founder
builders
github
X Account
narrative
testnet
last activity
what changed
potential opportunities
then check it every few days.
being early can mean being one of the first users, testers, contributors, community members or people who actually understand the product.
and obviously, do your own research.
end of the day, the goal is to build a system where you can consistently find interesting builders before the rest of ct notices them.
bookmark it ASAP
