Things MacOS does worse than every other OS: Keyboard shortcuts, window management, file management (Finder is awful), being aware of other file systems, gestures (requires their hardware), customizability, and multi-monitor setups.
Unless you need aggregate audio devices, MacOS is the worst choice for an OS.

I'm working on a slight modification to a file that was last altered 10 years ago (PHP 5.6). It's a 576 line function that has five or six distinct responsibilities. It also builds an SQL query as it goes. I hate this so much.

@WarrenInTheBuff I've started and then not finished so many side-projects over the years because they were over-engineered. The trick is building a monolith that you can later decouple into microservices as needed.
Tech is cyclical. Newsletters and podcasts are making people ridiculously wealthy. People are coding in PHP and buying Lambos. Why are you not a billionaire yet?
