@chrishardyworld @voices I think they were replying to my comment, which is a shame as you made a valid point which didn’t get addressed. Apologies, hadn’t intended to hijack the conversation, merely sharing my own, rather negative experience with the platform.

@chrishardyworld @voices Similar experience. I could stomach the $500 a year ‘talent fee’ when the 20% fee was being covered by the client, but they’ve lumped that on talent as well now. The greediest site I’ve come across for VO.

Throwback to pre-lockdown life, Christmas at Bracklesham Bay... can’t wait to get back to some kind of normality (though in fairness, there was lots of unintentional social distancing in this picture!)

Spent some time this morning researching warm up exercises specifically designed to help #voiceover artists warm their #voices up. Might try and turn some into posts later, but what do other people do? Any good methods to quickly get your voice limbered up for the day? #volife

I keep meaning to do something productive during my lockdown downtime, and then I remember that I’m binge watching The (American) Office and I suddenly don’t feel so guilty...

The Shure SM7B - our mic of choice! So good, we got two of them, one in our booth and this one here, attached to our editing desk. What mic do you use? #voiceover #volife #shure #sm7b #homevoiceover #fiverr
