“It’s for your own good!” Watched #RainTownMovie yesterday and realised most of my friends (and husband) grew up listening to their parents saying this. The perfect family portrait, the inherited ‘dreams’, and paths planned/charted: these are apparently very common to many 🥲
Finally found time to watch #RainTown. Wonderful tear-jerker slice of life drama of a family going through changes. @suelanks was excellent as the matriarch and @chewkinwah was very slappable. 😂 The hall was half-filled for a 10pm slot at Pyramid. I hope they get another week.
