@CutWithout Assuming this is true, I would say it's because liberal women and liberal people in general are arguably more empathetic to their fellow human beings. This would open them up to distress of varying degrees. Socially they are also probably more likely to seek professional help.

@CutWithout I'm so tired of people complaining about wearing garments. During my 21 yrs in the USAF, I wore garments, a T-shirt, and camos in some of the most uncomfortable places in the world. In the CHP, garments, t-shirts, safety gear, and uniforms are in the heat of the SoCal Desert.
