New rock alert! It’s fascinating how the same word can resonate differently from person to person. Hope exists each day! #rotd “I picked the word hope because it seemed inspiring. And what it means to me is that if I had no hope I probably wouldn’t get anything done.”

Today’s #rotd comes from @whysean who shared this: Some people are geodes. If they never experience enough trauma to fracture, they remain boring normal dusty rocks. But when life hits hard enough to crack them open, they find something beautiful inside to show the whole world.

A dear friend of mine shared a sentiment on gratitude: “Choosing to face and navigate through life’s challenges and hardships while at the same time taking note of the people I am grateful for has been a wildly transformative practice. Cyan is one of those people for me.” #rotd

He believes serendipity is a way of interpreting life. It shows us that chaos/unknown can bring beauty into our lives through unplanned meeting of new people. We find ourselves taking part in adventures we never would have seen ourselves in if we tried planning out every aspect.

A dear friend of mine, @BishopFromArk, chose Serendipity. Beautifully put: Control is a figment of our imaginations and embracing randomness allows for us to be more human in this short life.

Where’s your mind today? Are you really living each day? “We should strive to reach our goals and live our lives to the fullest relentlessly. Life will come and try to knock you down, but we must remain strong and focus our energy on overcoming these challenges.” #rotd

Today, I introduce you to Spatula. “It’s just my favorite word. I think it’s kind of phonetically pleasing to say, and it’s a quirky word to have as a favorite word.” What words do you like to say? #rotd

Starting the weekend off with a simple, yet profound #rotd. My dear friend Cody finds meaning and a way to pay it forward with his word. He seeks to inspire others because of how many have inspired him. Inspiration is powerful.

We continue the #rotd journey with @samanthtweets. For her, every day is a new sunrise and sunset, so we have a chance to hope again. It’s all about your outlook in life. As long as you believe things can get better, they can.

For example, you may only be interested in a few of my facets and not all of them. Now you’ll be able to customize your experience. You can subscribe or follow the parts you care about and ignore the ones you don’t. So the death of this account is that it is no longer “me” (2)
