Also, another developer on another team when pushed to fix a Critical Injection vulnerability I was told... the business doesn't consider those a priority and will not be in the backlog. My hammer is about to come out and swing heads off...

True story - A "Manager" is trying to file an exception for a series of Critical and High vulnerabilities the developer can't fix but is fixable... with the exception he can 'not worry about touching the app' again. This is the real world folks... and why breaches happen.

It's abundantly clear that the upcoming IT resources have no idea how to troubleshoot a problem or basic problem solving skills if it's not spelled out for them... that's a serious problem. Lack of logic curiosity.

In today's moment that I wanted to blowtorch my team 'leaders' they sent a draft document I threw together, and put in a shared folder, full of random ideas for a huge client ask... that document is now the agenda for a 4 hour work session. F'ing morons.

Working with an "Architect", 3 weeks left on the job and he hasn't created any artifacts except one draft that makes no sense. I pushed him for a service map so I can overlay security. He said it was too low level and not enough time. I went around him and made one in 30 min.
