@PleaseTankAgain @FoolishBB Idk if I would call it on steroids. Idk their exact K% but it was def higher than regular season. Same with walk and hr rate for sure. I would just say different not on steroids

@PleaseTankAgain @FoolishBB idk about video but definitely not his worst take. He at least wasn't wrong that they weren't going to win with the passive approach. Maybe they would've won anyway but that wasn't how they did it

@dogpenetr8or @FoolishBB I'd love to see someone smarter than me analyze it or dig into it myself a bit. It also could just be a funny coincidence sometimes baseball just baseballs

@dogpenetr8or @FoolishBB That's true. I guess the main takeaway is professional hitters can change their approach. During the regular season they were way more passive and contact oriented because that works against those pitchers. Then they turned up against the fireballers.

@TheMissingDuck @FoolishBB I haven't dug into the numbers too much and didn't get to watch every game but the brewers hit 7 hrs and the dodgers hit 2. This is clearly a different team

@Bookie_Metts50 He was out in front of a slider the pitch before and then Snell threw a fastball and sped up his bat. It was just a bad pitch, missed location right down the middle. Do yall even watch baseball?

@ScoringChanges @DCHard21 he problem with pitches further out of the zone is it's just so hard to make solid contact, and it's also really hard to intentionally foul off a nasty pitch like that. So if you play this out 100 times and take half vs swing at half, the take probably ends better, I think

@ScoringChanges @DCHard21 but the problem with a foul is you have to make good enough contact, if you are making good enough contact you might hit it fair, and that pitch is so low it's probably going to be a weak groundball. Also there's a good chance you whiff a bit early or just over it. 2/3

@JayExci best is dot and bubble (i hate number ratings but just to play along) 9/10 worst is easily empire of death (idk like 3 or 2/10) but the worst regular episode is Boom which is probably a 3
