Today, D-8 Secretary-General @D8SecGen Ambassador Isiaka Abdulqadir Imam held a productive meeting with TRT Deputy DG for International Broadcasts, Mr. @_OFTanriverdi_ at TRT HQ in Ankara. They explored potential joint projects aimed at enhancing the visibility of the D-8 Organization. Mr. Tanriverdi also outlined key events and programs that TRT will organize in the last quarter of 2024, where D-8 will participate to strengthen collaboration between the two organizations. This marks an exciting step toward increasing engagement and promoting the D-8’s mission globally.

To broaden collaboration on project implementation, Ambassador Isiaka Abdulqadir Imam, the @D8SecGen, met with Dr. Mohammad Hashem Botshekan, the President of ECO Trade and Development Bank #ECOBank in Istanbul today (12-Sep). The two dignitaries identified collaborative measures in technical and project-based cooperation to support each other’s objectives in economic development. They also agreed to tap into the MoU between the #D8 and @ECO_int as the basis for further consultation.
